Good! Then we’ll finally have the chance to get some hard facts as opposed to pointless guesses by people with more opinions than knowledge. Myself included.

That has basically been the feeling in the air before every ICX update for the last 2-3 years.

I won’t play this game anymore.

they dont care about you. so why should they “try to keep you waiting” ??? they are just a company, which wants to make money in the future. they dont want to cure you or anything. please dont talk bs.

Fantastic, we will know how many people they have lost this time, and how many they still have, if any.

yes, they pretty much care about me, and care about the public in general. They need to keep making headlines, using TRC as pure bait, this makes ICX famous, and selling stocks. Many people of this forum purchased stocks, and they now have lost their money. All of it.

» so why should they “try to keep you waiting” ???
To avoid admitting that TRC is cräp. To keep using it as bait, keep making headlines in the magazines. Selling stocks. You know, curing leg ulcers is not cool, but curing baldness is really something headline-making.

Well, to tell you the truth, after ICX-PRO collapse, it would be totally stupid if ICX still tried to convince us of anything good about TRC. I think they must admit altogether, that PRO, TRC and Vavelta were total failures. All of them.

» they are just a company, which wants to make money in the future. they dont
» want to cure you or anything.
I don’t know if they want to cure me or not. What is pretty sure is that they have no future anymore.

» please dont talk bs.
its not me who is talking bs. Maybe you…?? perhaps…?? mmmhh…?? poor man. now I understand your nickname.

Spanish Dude,

I think that ICX has been using TRC as investment bait at least since the phase two trial ended. I dont know if TRC might be able to thicken areas with existing hair, but it obviously does little on bald areas. I still cant get over that ‘13 to 103%’ increases stuff. Only Nathan would hold out any hope now.

Apparently tissue scaffolds will indeed be necessary for cellular-based HM to work much at all.

With the global stock market contraction, ICX’s future is obviously in jeapordy period now unless they can get one well-working product to market and have several satisfied customers and pictures for some effective PR. People aren’t going to keep pouring money down a hole, especially for a company that has revealed comparitively so little.

It probably would have been better if Kemp had raised, say, $10,000,000 from private venture investors and concentrated completely on TRC.

By being overambitious with the product range and going the UK corporate route, Intercytex is saddled with a boat load of executives, employees and associated public company costs. They’ve burned through $80,000,000 when less, targeted at TRC and maybe Vavelta, would have been better.

When Intercytex falls over, someone will pick up the TRC patents and protocols cheaply and start again. Might be Kemp.

tell me someone in here who purchased stocks of intercytex. sure they care about public in general, but not specially about you or about this forum.

they dont have to admit anything to you. only to their shareholders. are you a shareholder of icx?

i dont care what you say about my nickname. its only nerving that everyone who wants to say something against me, uses my nick. i made this nickname 5 years ago and i dont want to change it, coz noone would recognize me, if i would do so. you can say whatever you want about my nickname. i dont care.

but you should see, that you or this forum are not the center of the world. icx doesnt care about “us”. maybe about the public in general. if you meant the public in general with “us”, then ok. but if you mean this forum or even yourself with “us” , then you pretty much talk bs.

Are we sure these aren’t financial results rather then research results?

im not aware of anyone here buying icx stock.

also, afair most of their stock is held by large institutions not minor investors

» Are we sure these aren’t financial results rather then research results?

They said that they’ll release TRC data in Q1 of 2009, and march is the last month of Q1. So most probably the trial data would be in the release.

I hope you’re right, but do you have a quote that says this, because all I’ve seen is language that doesn’t place responsibility on them to actually post public results. this is what I found off their website:

“At the end of the first quarter of 2009, when the trial has concluded, photographic data will be analysed from a much larger area of treated scalp on all subjects at 12 months.”

http://www.intercytex.com/icx/products/aesthetic/icxtrc/

This language doesn’t say they will post the results to the public, it just says that they’ll be analysing. I guess we’ll know for sure in about a week!

I emailed Intercytex last week about this and in reply they said:

"Dear Mr *******,

The results for Phase II trials for ICX-TRC will be released at the end of March, however we do not yet know an exact date. Please watch our website for up to date news and announcements on ICX-TRC and sign up for the news alert so you can be informed of our progress.

Thank you for your interest in ICX-TRC.

Kind Regards."

yes, for a moment I thought that ARI’s scaffold was an outdated idea, and ICX had managed to get the same result without scaffolds, just by using massive amounts of DP cells. But I was wrong. In fact, TRC is over, and ARI is running decent PhaseII trials.

I remember the name of 1 british forum member. Starts with “G”.
I knew another forum member who was in US and was trying to buy. He had problems because he was in the US. He intended to buy a lot.
Another guy from France also was interested.
And other forum members also said that they had bought or wanted to buy.
And note that this is a personal issue, and not everyone would tell in the forum. Others read the forum and don’t write… these persons might also buy.
And there are many forums, not just Hairsite.

While it is true that they don’t have any duty to report anything to the general public, this doesn’t imply that they are free to publish misleading information to the public. They are misleading the general public and the shareholders too.

This forum IS important, and many other forums too. and the magazines… and the people who reads ICX website. All this people is important to ICX, that is why they give interviews, and publish FAQs, etc.

In contrast, look at Dr. Washenik. He is now conducting very serious trials, with lots of trialists, but they are being totally silent. And you won’t see me complaining. They have the right to be silent. But I get very pissed off when someone tries to mislead me. And this is what ICX did.

I’ll say it again -

If an unknown entity showed up today with the data trail that ICX-TRC has actually produced up to now, we would not take the operation seriously.
