In fact I think I made it popular!
Why do you think “hydrocortisone cream” will help in the long term when it ultimately thins your skin, thus damaging already damaged skin ?

Actually, my query was for suggestions OTHER than hydrocortisone cream. Since I know VERY little about any of this I don’t much offer my THINKING on any of these possiple treatments. Just looking for a helping hand, Pete.

If you havea distressing scalp condition - speak to your doc.
Salicylic Acid is found in TGEL from Neutrogena and there some Sulphur shampoos too.

Isn’t salicylic acid just another name for asprine?
