THE C2G HAIR RESTORATION TECHNIQUE
Breakthrough Hair Transplant Method that Provides Consistent Quality Results

Patient’s who do their homework prior to a hair transplant procedure know that strip (FUT) procedures offer few benefits over CIT. The only true benefit, up until recently, has been the capacity to keep one’s hair longer with the strip procedure. CIT on the other hand required patients to shave their heads in order to perform a larger procedure. For some, this required careful planning so that they could shave their head and migrate back into their usual lifestyle. Shaving the head can make a patient nervous because it can result in a drastic change in one’s appearance.

CIT PREVAILS OVER STRIP
Donor harvesting has advanced significantly over the years. One of the early advancements was to place two layers of sutures in strip harvests. We found that a single strip scar was easier to resolve and conceal than multiple strip scars. We have found that a second strip harvest of the same strip scar resulted in wider scars if a two layer closure was not performed. Subsequently, with strip harvesting, the trichophytic closure was adopted by many with the promise that it would leave undetectable scars. This simply is not the case. In order to overcome the limitations of strip scars, we developed the CIT method of donor harvesting.

HairDX TEST FOR FUTURE HAIR LOSS
here is a new genetic test to determine your risk for male pattern baldness. The test looks for a genetic marker on the X chromosome.

BARIATRIC WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY & HAIR LOSS
It is well known that people may experience an effluvium, or shedding, under the influence of myriad stressors. These can be physiological or psychological, and the hair loss may be permanent or temporary. Bariatric surgery may be an overwhelming stressor, and even in the most optimal cases, it is a major perturbation to the body as well as the mind.

IMPORTANCE OF HAIR CHARACTERISTICS
These characteristics are significant in that they determine to a great degree how much coverage of the scalp there is, in order to block light. When light is not blocked and penetrates through to the scalp, the appearance is of thinning or balding.

CIT SCAR GRAFTING RESULTS
This is a pre-op and post-op video of a donor area that was previously harvested via strip (FUT) and then grafted with 130 CIT grafts.

“JL” - 3000 GRAFTS
This Norwood 3V patient received 3000 CIT grafts over two sessions. The patient’s goal was to have a more youthful hair line and add density to the top.

1400 CIT GRAFTS ON NW 3V
This Norwood 3V received only 1400 grafts on his frontal area with CIT. The patient is 52 years old and is very excited from his results.
