If phase II fails, HM will be 10 years away?

Do you all think if Intercytex fails with phase 2, it will take 10 years before somebody else succeeds with HM??

Nope. 2 things:

  1. I really doubt Intercytex will “fail” in the strict sense – in a near-worst case scenario I suspect it will be marketed as a “Rogaine”-type product. It may work, it may not, you take the risk and shell out the dough. My point is that any smart business person like Paul Kemp would find a way to spin even disappointing findings into a positive – e.g., it doesn’t grow new hair, but it does “thicken” existing hair.

  2. There is also Aderans and Follica (although Follica isn’t working on HM per se). Either one of these companies could have a product out before 10 years, and I suspect they will.
