That angle I can see where you have issues.

» I’m confused,

» The grown out pic looks very good to me.

» Is the goal to shave the head?
»
» Thanks.

I also think that the grown out look, does look really impressive. Why do you want to shave it? I know for me, i keep my hair shaved only becasue it looks good real short. I cannot grow my hair long like that picture. When it is long it appears to thin.

Pics of it grown out are really misleading, the areas that were transplanted are see through and thin in real life, it also looks pluggy because the grafts are spread out.

I have seen worse. Does it look this bad when your hair is wet? I wonder if other people can see that or only when you look closely in the mirror?

Well I have gotten ragged on quite a few times from so called friends, and also my social life has taken a major hit from this whole thing. I just don’t feel good, ya know.

If your friends don’t support you then they are not friends. Drop them. I hope everything works out for you and I have to agree that the doc did a crappy job with your hairline.

Who was your doc?

Thanks for the info. I just checked out Dr. Rahal’s website. I’m not impressed with his work at all and know to stay clear of him, not consistent with his results.

I hope that he offers you some help.

Best of luck.

Nope no help, he took a good part of the last few years if my life with this nonsense, but soon hopefully I will get some good repair work.

Yeah…

do you mean in terms of denisty or of hairlines? That is the first i have heard of that.

I mean in terms of density, and removing the doubles and triples from the hairline, and maybe doing something to help with the ridging.

I don’t know how to break this to you, but your future is likely very bleak. Your hairline is that of an adolescent, and your transplants have locked that in. You shouldn’t be filling it in as much as wondering what these will look like when your harline is inches further back. If you use any hair at all to fill this in, I’d suggest body hair. You will need all the head follicles that you have. Contrary to what you are currently thinking… you will be 40, 50, 60 years old in the blink of an eye, and HATE what you have had done. I’m sorry, but that is the truth.

Sorry for sounding so negative, but I was your age once (seems like yesterday), and had no idea what reality had planned. I hope your genetics (parents and grandparents) had very little ultimate loss.

Seriously, best wishes.

I see. So you mean removing double hairs? Wow so there seems to be some people that do not like Rahals work.

Well I am 31 already. I know this is not the hairline I wanted! Too late to turn back now though, I just want to feel normal again. I probably will not recede further than I have though, considering how my father looks, and on my mothers side no one is bald at all.

Who would like work like this, blind people? It sucks but I can’t live in the past I must move to the future.

Man, sorry to see this, big grafts on the hair line, and with your type of hair it was never going to work, poor growth. I know it is bad now but you need to start researching the best repair docs around and if possibly do personal consultations so they can properly see the extent of the skin trauma. Redesign the hair line, remove the old grafts and expect it may take a few procedures to get it right. Your next step is crucial but I wouldn’t say you are beyond help by any means, I have seen worse that ended up better. Good luck!

I agree with Vic. You need to do consults in person with a hairline doctor . Your hairline can be softened. It isn’t brain surgery.
