Does anyone the price of around 3000 hairs by the main doctors?

FUE drs. with little FUE experience charging high prices
FUE dr. with loads of experience charging high prices

Most ethicial FUE drs with loads of experience will offer FUE at reasonable prices since FUE should not be the ‘Rich man only’ procedure.

IMHO there are still only about 5-10 very experienced FUE docs worldwide who deliver consistant good results using FUE.

ps > in hair transplantation prices are usually charged on ‘per graft’ rather then per hair. 3000 hairs would be around 1500 grafts.

interesting observation, but isn’t Dr. Woods’ prices the most expensive and yet he is the most experienced in the world?? Your theory doesn’t hold in that respect.

Graft=follicle?

A graft can contain anywhere from 1, 2, or 3 follicles depending on the patient’s requirement. It does get confusing because typically hair transplant doctors charge by the number of grafts rather than follicles.

Here is an interesting picture from Dr. Cole, it illustrates natural follicular groupings (or follicular units) that occur in one of his patients’ scalp.

Out of one follicle, only one hair sprouts out ?
