HT in Los Angeles?

Hi,

New to the board… Was wonering if anyone can recommend a good HT doctor that I can look into in Los Angeles, CA area… I haven’t decided if I want to do FUE or strip. I probably need between 2000 to 3000 grafts transplanted.

Also, if anyone can give me idea of what i can expect on price for either strip or FUE, I appreciate it very much.

Wow, you’re in pretty good luck location wise. Dr. Umar is a very talented and caring doctor in the L.A. area. Redondo Beach to be exact. Having been a patient of his, as well as Dr. Armani, I would highly recommend him.

Also, having had both strip, FUE and BHT, I would DEFINATELY opt for FUE. You will regret your scar for the rest of your life, regardless of how thin if you go the strip route.

The fact that Dr. Umar has proven himself very successful using FUE, and his FUE prices are some of the lowest in the business, are just bonuses.

I already know I am going to get flamed for this post and accused of working for him, but I do not work for Dr. Umar, nor do I benefit in any way from my opinion.

i have been to many docs in my quest for repair and dr umar is one of the best he has worked on the most difficult cases, and does the work himself, he is very generous as well as skilled, this is why his patients think and speak so highly of him

I’m 28… Well, I’ll be 29 in a month. I’m also bit worried about how big of a scar I’ll have after the surgery. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

If scar is an issue, then your best bet is FUE or if you choose STRIP, then make sure the doctor do tri-closure for the strip scar. Your hair loss is not bad at all. I bet most people don’t even realize you have hair loss. You are probably Norwood 2 at worst.
