How long after application of Rogain can I shower?

How long does Rogain foam need to be in the hair before you can shower? I’ve heard 4 hours. Is that the case?

I always put mine on right after showering. I do so in the AM and PM. It may all be in my head, but I figured my pores would be open after a hot shower etc etc. Just my two cents on the subject. Four hours should be fine.
