Not just Umar but all the supposedly top bht doctors seemed to have thrown in the towel too.
Not so.
Dr. Umar is using BHT and beard hair with great results (imo), especially for repair patients.
My BHT results are holding up very well almost three years out.

Yeah, it’s kind of disappointing that doctors do not seem to be as enthusiastic about bht as they used to. I still think there is great potential to mix body hair with regular scalp hair transplant even for virgin patients.

Body hair continues to define its role and benefits. Alot has been learned about the benefits of BHT especially in the repair patients where limited donor is available or wants to be preserved for the Norwood area. I do believe that beard hair will continue to expand the use of hybrid mixtures along with BHT to achieve goals. Beard hair in my opinion will be the first option after scalp hair when scalp hair is not available in appropriate numbers to meet expectations . This as with any other progression of advancement in procedures is being learned from experiencee .

I think more studies are required to evaluate the effect of finateride on body hair transplant. If finasteride really does have the opposite effect on body hair (including beard), it will make body hair transplant useless.

Not a good example he had a good amount of head hair to go with the besrd. Nape hair is head hair. Not convincing I need to see all bht case to be impressed
I think the crown was done with all beard hair, very encouraging yield.
