Hey everyone, I know that a lot of people talk about how getting a HT could deplete the donor area, leaving little to work with when HM potentially comes out. My question is, can’t doctors use the transplanted grafts and re-transplant them with HM if hair multiplication does come out? Wouldn’t these hair follicles be available to use as well? Just curious to know what you guys think/know about this subject.
Absolutely they can. They can use ANY viable follicles. The key would be to determining which are transplanted follicles at the time of extraction for HM.

My concern isn’t having little donor hair to work with. The concern is will the transplanted hair disturb the normal dermal layer with scarring etc, making HM less successful.
