Back in spring 2024 I did a a hair transplant at VeraClinic. The decision was more of spontaneous as I never planned or was thinking about hair transplant. In my case I had already a severe baldness on top of my head, however my sides and back were fine. So in general I needed to make a decision, either I cut my hairs bald or try to do something about. The decision was to give it a try.
When I arrived in Istanbul, VeraClinic arranged for my airport transfer, which made things easy and stress-free. The clinic is modern and comfortable, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome right from the start. The consultation was thorough, and I appreciated how they explained the entire process in detail, making sure I knew exactly what to expect.
The transplant surgery took 2 days, during which they transplanted a total of ~10,000 grafts. They called it the VeraMax program. Typically surgery takes one day, and since my case was a bit extreme, I am happy that the procedure went smoothly. The doctors and nurses were incredibly skilled and attentive, which made me feel confident in their care.
While at clinic new guys were asking if it hurts and how is the procedure itself. In my case the whole procedure was ok and the most difficult time was to wait until all things I done. I didn’t feel pain or major discomfort. In fact, to me personally the most difficult time was not the procedure, but post post-surgery time. The first few days are critical and need to be very carefull. Also for about ~10 weeks it is allowed to sleep only on a back with a special pillow. That was probably the most difficult part. After surgery the my head was swollen a lot, however, I didn’t feel any pain. The swelling disappeared after about 4-5 days. The next difficult period was after about 2-3 months, when most of newly planted hairs are gone and it is not clear if the new one will grow. Need to admit there was some worries what will happen next and the visual look was awful 
Now, after a half a year the result can be seen and it definitely looks great.
Also, need to mention that follow-up support has been excellent as well. VeraClinic stayed in touch regularly to check on my progress and answer any questions I had.
All in all, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with VeraClinicI as I can say only good things based on my experience. Highly recommend it to anyone considering a hair transplant!
