Hair Multiplication Trials in Japan - Last Clinical Trial Phases?

Does anyone know when the last phases of the hair multiplication trials will be over in Japan?

The only company in Japan we have any kind of clinical trials results for is Replicel. None of the others have even started trials, much less announce when those trials will be done.

…and the Replicel trials are yielding poor results.

Very poor results. According to their own reports, a certain percentage of patients actually end up with a lower hair count than before the treatment.

I checked the translation of that page, and there’s an online lecture by Dr Takashi Tsuji on organ regeration using stem cells, on Wednesday, August 5:

11:30-12:30 Takashi Tsuji Organ regeneration by self-organization of stem cells

I believe the lectures scheduled are only for Riken’s research partners and students at higher educational institutions in Japan, and there is an application linked, but it’s also in Japanese.

It doesn’t say anything specifically about hair follicles, but it does look related to his hair work.

It says something to the effect that they’ve stopped in person lectures for now because of coronavirus restrictions. Probably the same for Dr Tsuji’s actual lab work.
