As suggested by some members, effectively immediately, the Hair Loss Drugs Forum, All Natural Forum, and Topicals Forum are combined into ONE FORUMfor ease of navigation for our readers.
We realize that very often, some treatments may have characteristics that can fit into one or more of the pre-defined forum categories. By combining three different forums into one can allow our community to be more focused with their discussions.
You can still read older posts in each of the respective forums in the ARCHIVES section of this board. If there are any threads from the retired forums that you would like to move to this forum, please post details here in this thread.
Hairsite, I beg to differ. Drugs and naturals are not the same. Supplements and topicals are not the same.
It might be better to separate the categories into internals and topicals. Then expand these categories, so that a poster could enter either a natural or drugs section.
INTERNALS
A. all natural
B. drugs
TOPICALS
A. all natural
B. drugs
This would be much more coherent, and less time consuming. One of the big attractions of this forum is (was) its format. Very user friendly-organized. No one wants to have to wade through a bunch of threads about drugs, if they are interested in naturals, and vice versa. Same goes for internals and topicals.

I think that’s a tad too complicated. I kind of like grouping everything into one roof, it’s more or less the same stuff that everybody uses anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Too complicated? The same things?
Internals and Topicals. Naturals and Drugs.
Four words.
These, drugs and naturals, are completely different things, all jumbled together into one big mess.

Personally it doesn’t matter to me either way, I use almost everything. They are all for growing hair anyway, as long as they grow hair I don’t care whether they are drugs or natural.
HaHa what a joke. Horrible idea. And thanks for making all the members of the forum have a say in this. We might have actually contributed positively as with most forums when a consensus is taken. Who gives a sh!t what we think right? Carry on and good luck. Its no wonder traffic is slowing down.

So the board has what, 1000 members
ONE GUY says, you should combine ABC boards
do you ask anyone if they think this is a good idea? Nope, you just do it

i Just think that the forums that got mixed, most of them well drugs topics etc are diametrically opposed, to naturals, and vice versa, causes a lot of conflicts, makes it very difficult to keep track of old posts, etc when they are all thrown into the same bin of posts with other forums

I don’t post here much but I do read the posts whenver I have time. Does it really matter that much whether to separate these topics or not? For example, do people only read posts in the supplments forum and nothing else?
How do you categorize Revivogen, should it go under topical or all natural?

That would be an all natural topical, under my paradigm.

At the very least, supplements should be separated from topicals.
Moreover, the term “All Natural” can be applied to both supplements and topicals, so an overlapping occurs. This can be rectified by either removing these words OR including sections for “All Natural” and “Drugs,” respectively.

thats even more confusing
better to just switch it back
» Actually the term “Drug” is confusing because it can applied to both
» supplements AND topicals.
»
» A simpler way is to have two sections:
»
» Plan A.
»
» 1. Topicals (including naturals and drugs)
» 2. Supplements (including naturals and drugs)

» OR
»
» Plan B.

» I prefer plan B.
ya but all natural topicals can still post on the all natural forum
or the topical forum
