FUE in UK

Hi guys, been trying for years to recover my locks all to no avail so think its about time I tried this FUE treatment to sort out, as a 42 year old havnt got time to wait for the cloning that Im sure will be here within ten years. I keep my head shaved and it looks pretty cool albeit have no front line but lots at side and back. Hoping for help who to go to to sort this out and to chat with anyone who like me shaves there head and tried treatment. I WANT THE BEST IN THE WORLD TO SORT THIS OUT so please help me on this very hard decision. Thanks. George

I will straight and to the point George. I do not know at this time any well known FUE doctors in the UK. You can however travel to Belgium and there you shall find several FUE doctors. Dr. Bisanga is probably at this time the best in FUE AND having said that, is very reasonable in terms of price per graft and getting the quality in return.

Hi George
I’m the same age group as you.I’m in the Uk.I have been on these boards for over a year now.I now shave my hair down, whats left.
I went for a consultation with Norton in the UK,the sales talk scared the shit out of me,he’d of been better off trying to sell me a pair of jeans.Since then I have done a lot of research, there is no good fue or strip transplant surgeon in the UK.I’m just hoping for Intercytex’s hair multiplication to happen,if it doesn’t happen,I’ve decided just to get used to the shaved head look, which looks better than thinning hair,at least.

If I was you I’d be careful full stop, think before you jump,do you really want to be tied into the hair transplant industry for the rest of your life. One hair transplant leads to another top up,then another, thats what scares me!

Thanks for advice guys, albeit a bit confused. I agree with you about UK doctors in FUE and dont mind travelling anywhere in world to sort this shit out, New Year new me. The FUE looks very intrusive and would rather look bald than people looking at me with dolls hair effect. Are you trying to say its not all its cracked up to be? Had booked an appointment with Dr Rogers but think I will cancel it now after reading reports on here. Have been watching ICX (Intercytex) and even bought shares in company but feels years away and at 42 want my life back.
Wish I knew what it would really look like if I did go ahead and do the surgery thing, love my head shaved and makes me look years younger anyhow but would love a frontline to head.

Thanks again

Goerge

It’s ok to be cautious. It’s ok to wait. It’s ok to continue researching.

FUE is intrusive? It is supposed to be the least intrusive of all.

George that sounds just like me - the bit I’ve outlined.I shave my hair down with Wahl bladding clippers.I’d like a bit of an hairline, too!

George,
From my humble opinion, I think at your age you should forget about HM. Take as much time as you need to do your research, talk to drs, meet patients, etc., but HT and only with a handful of drs. can give solid and significant results.
My advise, especially concentrate on the docs in Brusels, and Canada. If I were you I would take the risk since you only live once.
All best,

boris342002 from my humble opinion, who are you when your at home!!!

He’s got a better chance of being in reach of HM if and when than most, because he’s in the Uk - Who’s likely to be offering it first the Farjo Clinic in Manchester,UK - Why because they’ve been doing the trials!

gjh001 if I was you I’d wait and see HM results this year, skip over to the HM forufor updates or take a look at the Intercytex link below

Very interesing debate here.

Thanks for reply, how long realistically is this treatment likely to be on the market ? It does look impressive and its quite advances on its trials. Would you recommend FUE as a stop gap until its available ?

Cheers

George

As I like to keep my hair shaved is FUE the right choice for me. Im hoping to start a new career in The Hague in the New Year so Belgium is a real option for me, just scared once done it wont look natural, be nice to see some pic from people who have had FUE and keep head shaved after treament.

Thanks

Hi George

I’ve done this question myself in the past.Take a look at the links below, these are the best I found - I want the same

http://www.hairsite.com/hair-loss/forum_entry-id-1927.html

http://www.hairsite.com/hair-loss/forum_entry-id-6497.html

I’m still not sure myself,I’m not even sure I could take the shit off other people if I did do something.I just shave my hair down, but yes it would be nice to have hairline.Hair transplants in the UK are not really the done thing are they.

Roll on HM
