I should correct myself … I HAVE heard from Dr. Cole’s office, but I haven’t received an opinion back from the photos and information that I have submitted so far (submitted on the 8th). I understand that the doctor was out of the office for awhile, so maybe that is the issue. With that, I do apologize. I did take some better pics, which are clearer and close-up and I resubmitted tonight. When I started this journey several years ago, my hair was a mess (my whole crown was half of what I have now), I went through a horrible divorce, the death of my mom, and my job moving out of state (all within 6 months time), so stress I am sure had something to do with it along with hormones and genetics. It has come a long way, especially with some of the advice that was given to me by Shapiro on different things I could do to increase hair growth and density.
It is devastating for a woman to lose her hair and only be given lame excuses by the medical community, that she must simply “live with it.” I can’t walk around with caps on like guys can. I am a businesswoman who is in front of customers all day, and I have to look good.
Anyway, I still have not heard one word from Umar’s office …
