Follica new team member

Follica added a Senior Executive Director, Drug Development. Coupled with the fact that they hire a CEO with a drug development background and new lab space in Philadelphia, one would have to speculate that they are developing their “compound” at the moment. My guess in by the end of the year they apply for a NDA. I think their safety trail could take a few years, but the rest of trails could be done quickly.

Phase one will NOT take a couple of years. These are compounds that have already been approved for other indications.

Elaine Fuchs published had a paper back in 2003 about WNT proteins and hair folicle formation. The problem was two much or not enough caused tumors. Maybe the “embryotic state” that results from wounding alloows this to be done safely. I truly believe that this process can produce good results, I just think that they are going to need to show that the cells stay stable over a period of time. Again, its all speculation based on my readings.
