E-Mail about Acell to Send to HT Doctors

» If you guys still think that it is too long, you could eliminate the first
» paragraph all together.
»
» I’ll probably leave it in, but obviously, you can do what you want.
i think it’s not too long, it’s for doctors, they want to know everything… a short message could seems like spam or a desperate idea of some sick balds :stuck_out_tongue:
Write all, it’s not too much!

You might want to send a copy of the completed letter to the ISHRS.

I will…thanks for the e-mail address.

At this point, I’m going to send it to Acell the way it is above. For anyone who thinks that it is too long, I would advise you to eliminate the first paragraph. Obviously, you can use this e-mail, a shortened version of this e-mail or develop one of your own.

I will send it to Acell tomorrow (Monday) the way that it is unless anyone adds positive changes over night. I will wait until Wednesday to see if they have any issues with the e-mail and, if not, I will start e-mailing as many HT doctors as possible.

I would appreciate the other forum members do the same to really get the word out about this product.

Hi Willy… i think that you have to write in the email, that 4 transplants doctors have already received an order from Acell to test the products in the transplant procedure. If you say this, other doctors want to try the same for not be in the past and know other modern techniques… i think that when one start, all the others follow the first… so write this too…

Hi SPQR,

I already wrote this:

What’s even more exciting is the fact that this product is already on the
market and shipments have been sent to a few progressive hair transplant doctors. I believe that there is a need for more skilled doctors to bridge the gap between this technology and the hair transplant community. I hope you will play a vital role in doing so.

I will change “a few” to “several progressive HT doctors”. I think that will get the point across.

I am going to make that change now and send it to Acell. If they have no negative issues with it, I will post it under an new thread on the forum on Wednesday. It will be titled, finalized version of e-mail or something like that. Hopefully, many of the forum members will copy send it out in an e-mail to as many doctors as possible to help get the word out about this stuff.

Take Care,
Bill

Guys,

Here is a copy of the revised 2nd draft of the e-mail that I would like to send to as many HT doctors as possible. Feel free to copy this version, make admendments to it, or develop one of your own to send to HT doctors. I would appreicate your help in sending the e-mail to as many doctors as possible.

I have sent the finalized version to Acell today (Monday 7/28/08) and will start e-mailing doctors (if Acell has no issues with the e-mail) on Wednesday (7/30/08).

I will post the finalized version under a new thread on Wednesday.

P.S. Check the e-mail for spacing before you send it. When I copy and paste it to this site, it changed the spacing.

Thanks,
Bill

Dear Dr.(Doctor’s Name)

I am a prospective hair transplant patient currently researching all of the options available in the hair restoration market. I’ve been considering a transplant for several years and am amazed at the near perfect results that skilled surgeons such as you have been able to achieve. The only reason I have not proceeded with the surgery is the obvious limiting factor of available donor hair. Although several doctors in the field have incredible “artistic ability” in reproducing natural results, they are limited by the amount of donor hair that each patient has available. Due to this fact, HT doctors often times cannot truly provide the “full head of hair” that their patients desire. I believe that this is a reason why many people (myself included) choose not to have a hair transplant.

Recently, in researching hair restoration on a website called Hairsite, I’ve been informed of a company named Acell. This company has developed a product called an extracellular matrix that is amazing in it’s capabilities for regeneration. It has been used extensively in vet. medicine for wound care but has recently been released for human use. In previous cases (in vet medicine), the Acell material not only regenerated the skin tissue of a wounded animal but also REGENERATED THE HAIR in the wounded area. If this can be replicated in humans, it would solve the limiting factor of donor hair in regards to a hair transplant. That is, the doctor could perform a conventional hair transplant, apply the Acell extracellular matrix to the wound (rather than stitching it up) and allow the tissue AND HAIR to regenerate, thus providing a LIMITLESS DONOR SUPPLY. I have since had several conversations with Acell and they have informed me that they are confident that the extracellular matrix will be capable of doing this. If this does prove to be the case, hair transplant doctors will finally be able provide the full head of hair that their patients seek, thus opening a WHOLE NEW MARKET OF PROSPECTIVE PATIENTS.

The Acell extracellular matrix comes in a powder form as well as a sheet form. The powder form would most likely accomodate HT doctors performing a procedure utilizing FUE whereas the sheet form would be best for doctors performing strip surgery.

Ok, perfect for me…
the next phase is to find all the possible email addresses of transplant doc, and post here a list, so everyone can find usefull contact to send the email.

It’s been sent to Acell. If I don’t hear from them by Wednesday, I’ll assume it’s OK. I agree about the e-mail addresses. That is the next step. Although, I wouldn’t want the same doctor to recieve the same stock e-mail from too many members of the forum. If we post a list of e-mails, that may happen. If forum members to do their own search for doctors’ e-mails maybe we will all hit different doctors with some overlap.

Tell me what you thihk.

Take Care,
Bill

Yes, it could seems like spam…
so a right way for don’t do this could be:
-create a list of all the transplant doctors that we know
-give to one (maybe you Will) the job to send the emails
-wait one week to have a response, and after this send again to the doctors that haven’t answered

(but at the same time everybody are free to send to other doctors or do the job by indipendent…)

Sounds good to me. Lets start the list.
