Dr. Umar: MPB update, 2100 BHT, 5 months

I have to hand it to Docs that take on difficult cases knowing full well that their work will ultimately lead to people criticizing their results rather then acknowledging how difficult the case was to begin with.

Twisted pictures, sales man, deleted threads, edited posts, paid posters and all this cannot fight the truth… transplants just dont look good the only reason some look better nowdays is because they are in conjuction with drugs that keeps your remaining hair or even regrow some of it.

If the drugs stop working and people progress to nw6 the truth is gonna be there for everyone to see.And i dont want to be insensitive but what the hell is this result???The transplant section is getting pathetic

I agree with everything you said but your comments on this case. This is a repair case, not a virgin scalp with limitless donor hair.I applaud Dr Umar.

You would be doing yourself a favour if you stopped explaining yourself to this idiot.Who is he? A kid playing on his daddy’s computer when he’s not surfing for porn.
Don’t even pay attention to that idiot.Don’t even talk to him.If you see one of his posts don’t even bother to open it.He’s like dog defecation on the sidewalk.Just don’t look at it and walk past it and hope that someone else scoops it up and throws it out. I’m sorry for being gross here but it is a lowlife we’re talking about.

Like I said before, the best way to deal with these wannabe Internet “badasses” is to ignore them. Soon they get bored and try to start some shiit up with somewhere else.

Hairsite has allot of deleting to do.

I am not 100% sure but I don’t think I agree with you on this. Modern transplants can deal with NW6 for a virgin scalp. I am not sure that the improvements are worth it but they can look natural. The recent Cole result is a perfect example. A very thin look but not a bald look. The “poster boys” canot be taken too seriousely. I would agree with that!

Most of what is going on here that is important is how to deal with the aftermath of 70s-80s-and 90s transplants. It must be a hell of a chalange and Dr. Umar as well as others are trying.

I think that you Damon and many others are just sick of the hype that you just go to a surgeon with class III get a transplant and your done for life or that you go to a surgeon with class VI and you have a good chance of looking like type II. I do wonder if us posters are as much a part of spreading that illusion as the employees.

The one thing that I do believe in the context of this thread is that BHT is a risk in terms of results and Dr. Umar as well as all the others don’t highlight that enough.

Go to Australia & have a personal consultation with Dr Woods on bht & you will see just how upfront he is on bht results.
He is to honest for his own good.I didn’t respect that at the time, now I do.

I have been exactly where MPB is regarding his hairpiece and working on ways to make it look more natural and make life easier with transplants . Before my extensive BHT work with Dr Umar and removal of my hairpiece I had about 1200 scalp hair transplanted in front of the hairpiece hairline to offer a more natural look/blend . This is essentially what MPB is working to achieve in his temporal area.

Life is not easy with a hairpiece. For anyone who hasnt gone that route they have no ideas. The commercials on television with hot chicks hanging off you dont fully explain the behind the scenes maintenance (mentally and physically) necessary to keep it looking as real/natural as possible . Everyone is not on this forum or having transplants done to go from Norwood 6 to 0. Some are having just enough work done to live their day to life and have some peace of mind. They may not be Wow procedures for everyone but for the individual who’s life is being improved it is a Wow procedure. I applaud MPB for realizing the step he needed to make with his hairpiece to make it look/blend better and improve his life .

You look amazing man.
Awesome results
I love the hairstyle you have chosen as well,it’s much shorter then hairtechs hair but it’s the look I want.
I can only imagine the positive impacts Dr Umar’s work has had on your life. Dr Umar should hang your hairpiece on his office wall like a trophy.

Wow, I didn’t realize with what venom Damon would “flame” me! Yikes! I was just thinking about which comment I made that would make you react so strongly? I didn’t dis-respect you in any way. I was merely mirroring and answering back the posts that you make every 4 minutes or so it seems. For you to diminish me. Or attempt to, with the state of your own well-documented sordid state of affairs is mind boggling! I merely suggested something to you in good faith. And I meant it. The other guy, Piperez or whatever, I never had one issue with you PERIOD! Nothing! I didn’t even know you existed until I saw your response. And if you are the same person in the picture, perhaps you shouldn’t worry so much about your mediocre HT and focus more on your stunning man boobs and the uncanny resemblence to the main villain in the Silence of the Lambs. Damon, to get back to you for a minute. You’re a seriously warped individual with real anger issues who is going to rob his grandmother for HM. Or whatever is passing for it, hypewise atm. If I were you, I would refrain from responding because you’re an admitted clownshoe. But of course, because of the rampant BDD in this place, I’m sure you’ll get enough agreements to feed you’re very fragile, very low esteemed, rote answer back!

PS
If you feel the need to respond. Please do so between 12pm and 8am mon thur fri. Those are the hours when I most need sleep…

LoooooooL! Yup Yup, I’m that internet badass wannabe who’s trying to start shit! And thanks for trying to get Hairsite’s attention to delete a post that actually calls you a scumbag fair and square! Heeee! You think you own Hairsite because you’re a fucking forum faggot loser who posts every three seconds? Like you’re about something more than being an internet whiner with a fucking strip scar? Go fuck yourself, you whiney fucking bitch! You’re lucky you aren’t a veteran of anything with more substance and drama than a botched STRIP SCAR! Just think of me, with a fucking awesome shaved head and a fucking bill of 15.00 a month for shaving lotion and razors. At least I have a girlfriend and a job, you douche!

Only in response to Damon’s pretende status as a human being. (Irate)

Damon,

Non ti curar di loro ma guarda e passa.

What can I say? mind blowing results!!! Congratulations! You look 100 times better with hair. Just a simple question. Do you keep your hair short because you like it or is it because body hair do not grow long enough to wear a longer hairdo? I would also like to know if you can see any noticeable difference between your normal hair and BH.

Thank you!

You have already been able to achieve allot despite the fact that you have lost your hair. You have come too far to stop now. When I was in my teens & early 20’s I was self-conscious of my hair loss but it never stopped me from doing what I wanted to do.Being butchered did.Now that I am older,I couldn’t care less about hair loss.I realise that it was a silly thing to be worried about.I guess it’s easy to say now but I strongly suspect that as you get older & experience different things in life you wont care either.

Wow- I don’t even now where to start on this one. Such drama for a dude just trying to repair a mistake done a few years back.

To Marco- You want to know my story. Simple I was stupid. Deep down I knew I didn’t have the right donor characteristics yet I let some hair mill salesmen talk me into a life altering decision. “The whole industry has changed since the days of the antiquated plug grafts”, he told me. “Most people don’t realize how easy it is for the illusion of a full head of hair to be created”. Yeah right! If I hadn’t already been in a somewhat depressed state of mind at the time, (OCD Body Morphic Disorder or whatever you want to define it as) maybe I would have thought things out more clearly. But that’s in the past- I made my bed-so to speak and am on the long road of trying to repair the damage- that’s it. Dr. Umar is my only saving grace right now. The HP is used as a hat to cover up my mistake. It is a hassle but it does make a difference as I do work in a professional environment but would be ousted if I walked in with a semi-stylish ball cap.

Helliboy also has been through this psychological night mare. I feel happy for him that his is now over. Unfortunately, I don’t think I have the BHT characteristics or physiology that Helliboy has (he got awesome results- the best I’ve seen for his degree of hair loss). A lot of guys say “just shave your head and be done with it”. Unfortunately I don’t have that option anymore; besides Marco did a great expose’ about cranial structure and the particular aesthetic appeal it exudes- or not. I think I fit in the “I feel sorry for you category on that one”.

To Damon- probably the one guy on this forum I relate to the most. He knows exactly where he stands and doesn’t appreciate to be patronized as do I. I guess we both anticipate the release of HM as we realize it really is the only “total solution” to really end this ordeal. It may be wishful thinking on my part due to my sorry donor characteristics but just the hope gives a powerful feeling. I know a lot of you say that hair loss has nothing to do with our problems and that they would exist anyway if we had a ton of hair. Bullshit. And then add to that our making the situation worse by getting HT strip butchery. Try walking in those shoes for awhile. Society accepts the naturally bald – they stare at scarred up freaks.

Jk1- appreciate the encouragement- I will keep you posted because isn’t that what these forums are for- to share results even for a procedure that is still in its infancy b/c for many of you- the jury is still out on BHT. For this procedure to get perfected somebody has to be willing to do it and besides what do I have to lose anyway but some unwanted chest hair that was covering up my magnificent “man boobs”.

Piperz- your statement: “My life is in shutter and baldness is the main cause of it. It’s not vanity. It’s the human desire to look normal that needs to be understood” really hit home.
I tell people this all the time but they just don’t get it.

And finally to the forum dickhead- I know I shouldn’t respond b/c as Damon stated, it only fans up that shity stench you bring to the forum. BTW- what the <> are you doing here anyway? You stated you solved your problem by shaving your Cro-Magnon cranium so why do you keep coming back to the HT site? Why don’t you be a man and post pictures of your mug that you are so proud of. Show us your six-pack abs too with your nice “manly chest”. I’m sorry- you can attack my transplant but I’m not going to let the body shot go. You saw a picture directly post-op and were chicken shit enough to make attacks on that? You’re such a pathetic <>. I have been biting at the bit to show some control reading your posts but this is one time that I truly wish that you didn’t have the luxury of hiding in anonymity behind your computer screen b/c you’re the type of person I would love to unload some built up stress on by mopping the pavement with your $15 dollar a month shaved melon. (Forum members- I apologize for this somewhat immature response but I skipped my anger management class this week- That’s all I have to say on this matter.)

I enjoyed that post  and thanks for the info!

Theres some growth there but who really cares its a small amount of hair on the side of his head.

I guess I do since it is my growth. I don’t really care who else really cares or not. Keep in mind BHT takes longer to complete its cycle than normal scalp hair anyway.

JonnyE,
I will repost my previous comments :

When one is living with a hairpiece areas such as the temples /hairline etc are crucial to make the hairpiece work and look natural. When these areas erode it makes a difference because then you have to start covering these eroded areas with the hairpiece hair . Wearing a hairpiece requires alot of maintenance and not only that it can wear you out mentally worrying about how it looks. If a procedure that helps MPB’s temples makes him look/feel better with his hairpiece it was worth it. Some wonder why he would post a smaller procedure = so that when others in the same situation see it and can relate to his experience they know there is something they can do to make their situation easier. That is what this forum is about . Not making everyone happy posting Norwood 6 to 0 transformations rather show what we have done and it may help someone else facing the same dilemna. I can tell you that before BHT helped me rid myself of my hairpiece I thought I was stuck wearing it for the rest of my life. The frontal FUE hairline work that I had done in front of my hairpiece during that timne to make it blend better saved me alot of grief by helping my maintenance program easier.Lets remember that everyone has different priorities
