I contacted Dr. Jose Lorenzo’s office today. He seems a very exciting surgeon and his results seem better / more extensive than any FUE doc posting on the board. His secretary told me in poor english that the earliest even for a consultation was march 2012. It made me realise that one factor that can influence the choice of surgeon is the time to get things moving. Maybe one should wait for the best surgeon but I wonder how many have made bad choices just because the poorer surgeons maybe available … next week?

Get out, 6 months wait even for a consultation? I can understand if you need to wait for the surgery but to have to wait 6 months even for consultation actually smells fishy.

I did my research and it seems that he is one of the very best!!! If you never heard of him then you have not done your research!!!

i have seen almost all the youtube vids on his channel,i have been following his work from around a year out of curiousity and im impressed by the sheer number of results he has put online.
i liked what i saw overall,he seems to be qiute efficient in FUE,donors looked good too.only thing i didnt sometimes like was his choice of hairs in the hairline,some looked way too thick calibered but that i guess depends on the individual characteristics too.

Thanks Hairlove, he definitely is prolific. What impressed me is the number of type V and type VI that he has dealt with effectively with FUE. I have not seen another surgeon that has managed to prove the effectiveness of FUE with those kind of numbers using scalp hair regularly. All the same I am not dedicated to any surgeon and waiting six months just for an appointment is probably beyond me. All the best, Marco.

It reminds me of the contractor whom I was going to hire to redo my kitchen, he told me he was so busy with existing clients that the earliest he could renovate my kitchen is 3 months away, later I found out that he couldn’t renovate my kitchen because his license was suspended and he had no insurance coverage.
