Dr. Jones whatever happen to Acell Trial #2?

I can’t believe you already just gave up on this product. Wasn’t their a alternative way of performing the procedure?

Dr. Jones was very clear about this. Acell is not cooperating properly to encourage more experiments.

» Q for Dr. Jones: Does this mean he’s done testing out Acell? I remember
» he had said that he may try different protocol if the first test didn’t
» work.
At this point, I am done with Acell. I didn’t see any results from the first patient and the company has not provided me with an alternative protocol so until I feel that I have a method that I think is viable I will not do another Acell procedure,
Dr Robert Jones

He really chose such a poor patient that it’s impossible to tell whether Acell works, even with the protocol he used. That patient had so much scarring, even if Acell worked (which I don’t believe it does), there was no way to tell. It really needed to be tested on a normal guy getting a transplant, not a guy with major scarring. It really was a wasted experiment (except we now know it doesn’t work on guys with major scarring).

If this was the problem, Acell should have pointed it out to Dr. Jones.
But it seems that Acell is not pointing out anything worthy to Dr. Jones.
With this lack of interest from Acell, we can only think that they have no real faith in this powder as hair regenerator.

I agree that Acell should be more proactive with Dr. Jones if they want to prove that it is good for hair. But whether or not ACell approved, the choice was Dr. Jones’ to pick that patient. And it was a very poor choice if you are trying to prove whether ACell works or not. Again, I doubt ACell does anything, but what a wasted opportunity to actually prove it on a normal person.

Well, according to Willy, other doctors are also experimenting with Acell in secret. We will see if they publish the results of these experiments.
