great to read a follow up… people were confused because dr jones had removed this from his site. The images seem to show quite some visible improvement… this definately looks promising. I hope more doctors start picking up on this technique… i would have it done if it were accessable in germany.

Feller will be offering it at a UK Clinic in a couple of months, if that’s any use?

It does look a bit better, but too early to be booking a session IMO. Still, interesting and definitely worth keeping an eye on. The 6 months pictures will be the ones to see…

In fact, Dr Feller has just posted some pictures on another forum.

He’s cautiously optimistic and hasn’t had any negative feedback. Yet.

I don’t see an improvement. If anything the hairloss has extended further down. The before picture has the hairs combed “away” from the crown. In the after photo all the hair are combed down. Anyone (me) who’s thinning in the crown knows the best way to cover it is to comb all the hair back and down like shown in the pic. Even the distance varies much. In the before pic that’s a super close-up. The after pic is far away.

My hopes were really up on PRP. It seems garbage to me. You get 10x better results on minoxidil alone. If these surgeons really wanted to make a difference… why don’t they test drive Acell. (we all know the answer to that).

But anyhow, this is not the docs fault. My hats off to him for trying. But now I know why these results were removed from his website.

It’s hard to tell the difference but good that we have updates coming.

I see a little improvement, but only 8 weeks!!!
I Hope to see a better result
But were is the doctor? no news?

Given the difference in angle, how the hair is “combed” differently and the difference in zoom, I can’t say I see any results.

In addition to these pictures we did density and shaft diameter, both which have increased. He will be back in September and I will post more results with the objective changes included. If there is little or no change, I will be the first to admit it. I have no interest in promoting a treatment that doesn’t work,
Dr. Robert Jones

I agree that these results are cosmetically non-existant at 2 months.

But I also agree that it’s too early to call it by a long shot.

(Think about it - a hair follicle that was knocked into the resting phase by the procedure probably would not even have emerged freshly growing yet for another month or so.)

What is the price of this procedure?

Are you doing this procedure on more people or at least have mroe people been booked to have it done?

Thanks.

Does anyone know the price? I heard that one doc was offering the treatment for about $800. Typical hair transplant doc bs. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t, but you can pay almost $1k to find out.

If they spent a couple years sitting on it until they had consistent nice proof, then we’d be griping just as loudly about that.

Rumors are always wilder than the truth. PRP would undoubtedly be rumored to work awesome & easy if we didn’t have anything concrete to go on. We’d be saying that the evil HT doctors are just doing all this “testing” for a procedure that doesn’t need any approval to keep us buying HTs as long as possible.

Any 3 month picture updates with same curcumstances? (distance, hair combed)
