Dr. Arvind
Please have you had update on 1000 fuse patient on your website yet.I’m very interested due to the fact that you stated that:

Interesting aspect.
The patient has been keeping the scalp shaved for most of the time after HT.
He states that no one was able to discern any signs of extractions.
He started growing his hair out about 2 months back.
He intends to send us pictures of the scalp donor area when he kept it shaved

I’ve got hairloss at the front, due to normal hairloss, and before that due to car accident, that left me with slight scar (which you can not really see),and only a bit of my hair grew back there. This was fine at first then hair started thinning there, which made it all seem worse,so due to all this I’ve taken to shaving my hair all off, which doesn’t look to bad, better than thinning hair.

I suppose I would be quite happy with more of a shadow of hair at front,if not,a nice NW3 would be good.I have no bald patch at top,but baldness does run in my family on my fathers side.My father and his brother went totally bald in their late fifties/early sixties.I’m 43 now.

I was refering to following gallery on your website

Hope you don’t mind me using this link.

Thanks in advance

Dear baldie42,

Of course, you may use the link. That helps me understand what result you are talking about.
Unfortunately, we lost touch with the patient.
I emailed him some times for the promised pictures but did not get reply.
I suspect he put his hairloss and surgeries behind him and carried on with life.
Happens, and I respect the patient’s decision.
BTW, there is a video of the donor area on that link, that I think is a good way to show the real video of the resultant donor. I saw it after so long and liked the clarity.

I will try to locate another result through our picture bank that may resemble your approach. I remember there was one that was a NW 6 and went for low density minimal transplants for the top and a receded hairline. He also kept a buzz cut.

Regards,
Dr.A

Dr. Arvind - Thanks for information I asked about.
