The photo documentation is poor and obsolete.

The poster should know better.

These photos and nothing is the same.

If people want REAL proof of results, get off your lazy, whimpering, whinning asses and go for a consultation and ask for references to patients. Photo quality has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum and it is quite pathetic. If you rely solely on photos from a hair loss forum to choose a surgeon, then you are a sucker and deserve what you get. Suddenly, everyone is a photo critic and an expert of photography. Yes, these clinics and their patients spend hundreds and even thousands of hours trying to “doctor” photos to dupe unsuspecting morons - a free copy of Photoshop is provided with every surgery (oops, I just gave up the secret, wink, wink). If you are really serious about transplants, don’t sit on the sidelines and scrutinize every photo that is posted on this forum. Stupid is as stupid does. Get real.

SERIOUSLY.
I like Armani’s work
but those photos are a joke.
The very reason this forum exists is BECAUSE of photos like that.

Hi Schmoe,

I wonder if you could let us know how your HT with Dr.A has progressed?
Best Wishes,
Marco

"If you are really serious about transplants, don’t sit on the sidelines and scrutinize every photo that is posted on this forum. Agreed. No one should ever get a ht unless they see former patient results in person.

Hey man, thanks for asking!

here’s my grown out results

http://hairsite.com/serendipity/authors/10-schmoe/

not much has changed since that.

So as my final review of the whole situation…

A) Much happier. It’s great to have hair up front again.
The hair took nicely in the front.

Now the negatives…

A)BHT didn’t take in the back as well as I’d hoped.
B)the direction that the front hair is growing is different than my natural hair… making it look somewhat patchy…

Dr.s on here debate whether technique can make the hair look fuller. Some say it’s # of grafts…

I wholeheartedly disagree.

I believe that if my hair was all going in the same direction it would look fuller…

The patchiness is a problem when my hair is growing out… not quite long… but longer than a #2 blade.

if I keep it buzzed or grow it out long, it looks fine.

C) The hairline itself looks a tad bit irregular (look at the pics and judge for yourself.

OVERALL.
Glad I did it.
has increased my confidence… i no longer have to recreate my hairline with a ton of Toppik… (man that is a NERVE WRECKING experince)

I actually just went for my 2nd HT a little over 2 months ago.
I didn’t want to say anything until I had some results for you…
But give it another month or so and I’ll update my blog.

I had ~1500 FUE put into the temples and front hairline to soften it, and ~1500 BHT in the mid section that was left untouched upon the first surgery.

I’ll keep you updated!
