I am a new member, age 31, have been battling hair loss off and on for maybe 5 years now. The first time, I was on spironolactone and the hair loss stopped so I eventually stopped the medication. Now, two years later, it started again in July and is worse than ever. My derm put me back on the spiro but it was making me nauseous so I stopped. But the hair loss was extreme when I stopped so I got scared and started taking the med again last Sunday. But my hair seems to be falling out more than ever. Has anyone ever had that happen on spiro? Does it take a few weeks to kick in?
