Well usually the procedure is done under local anesthetic where the scalp is ‘frozen’ (not by cold air i mean but by the anesthetic).
The jury is out on PRP but my hunch is that it is useful for MBP but more so for healing of transplants and preventing formation of scar tissue perhaps after a transplant.
As for giving the follicle an electrical shock, I’ll pass on that.
I sometimes alternate between hot & cold water when having a shower to ‘shock’ my hair. I’ve heard release of heat shock proteins promote repair of skin tissue so why not hair. My skin is silky smooth for my age with no wrinkles or blemishes so perhaps thats doing something. But I’ll be damned if I know what benefit its brought my hair. I can only hope.
