Baldlatino:
Me desculpo!

It is possible, but I wouldn’t count on it.

stop the speculation dude, it doesn’t change the deal wether you write it in portugues, spanish or whatever language … nobody knows where nor when it may happen by now.

Can you elaborate on this? I mean: I don’t see how they can complete all the trials by then. (Having said that, Ken Washenik recently said that he expects HM to be released in late 2009 / early 2010.)

What Aderans is upto is unknowable by us mere mortals. On the one hand we found out a few months ago that Phase 1 trials had been underway for well over a year, and then at that web conference report from Hairtech (I think) a few weeks ago washenik was very reserved in his reports, indicating a long wait.
I love all these speculative posts – no data, just speculation! It’s hilarious. I mean, we could analyze all day on Washenik’s recent “silence” – does this mean his product is a failure? Or is he shutting up due to Bosley’s HT juggernaut? And what does a “timeframe” for commercialization in 2009 mean? Does that mean high confidence in progress from Washenik and his team?

ICX are our only hope.

Aderans has an exclusive first option to co-invest with ICX on their HM product. This option becomes timely at the close of phase II. So Washenik does not have to actually develop a HM treatment in a timely manner in order to make those claims about his company. In a manner of speaking, ICX’ progress is the same as Aderans’ progress, unless Aderans decides to pass its option to co-invest on to the next company in line.
However, Aderans also has its own in house research being conducted in a parallel manner. But the research is starkly different from ICX and is also trailing the development timeline by a good margin. I view the ARI research as a cross between an insurance policy and the ongoing developing of a more advanced form of HM that will be released further out on the timeline.

Baldlatino,
Definitely, but probably only in the UK and certain EU countries which have agencies that recognize the UK’s approval of TRC. Probably not in the USA. I don’t know enough about the biomedical regulatory process in Brazil to guess about it.
