Cancer from HM in the long run?

could you possibly get cancer from HM in the long run? i mean they dont test it with many people and with phase III together the test will just go for about 5-6 years.

what is if you get cancer after 10 years after you had HM done?

this to the experts! i know its no real stern cell research. and its no gen-therapie. but its still new and they create new follicles.

please only answer if you have knowledge and can explain your view!

if HM comes out, i think i will wait for phase III, will ask some doctors or scientists about cancer-risks and only if they say its ok to get it, then i will get it. but i think i wont get it after phase II (even coz of price and it will be the first version of HM , so not perfected)

thats just my view and you can have other.

i know its only speculation coz, well maybe they tell us in 4 days that its all a mess and doesnt work.

but would be nice to know if it can give you cancer if it comes out.

i know this toppic was already there, but in the old forum i think.

thx for your view!

» could you possibly get cancer from HM in the long run?

So what if it gives me hair?

you mean you wouldnt care about cancer from HM in the long run?

» you mean you wouldnt care about cancer from HM in the long run?

I’d rather have hair on my head again and die the next day, then be doomed to live forever bald.

» you mean you wouldnt care about cancer from HM in the long run?

It’s the principle of the thing.

» you mean you wouldnt care about cancer from HM in the long run?

I often wish I could cut the skin that betrayed me from my head and stomp on it, kick it in anger, beat it to a pulp.

I would like to get my hands on the offending gene(s) that did this to me and strangle it/them.

I feel toward baldness as Meville’s Ahab feels toward Moby Dick.

“Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee.”

I feel your pain man. But I’d agree with you. I’d rather die with a full head of hair in 10 years then to live till 80 bald and miserable.

At the end of the day, its about the quality of life. I’d rather have a short but quality life then a long miserable one.

NO.

I’d prefer a lifetime of hair, but I’ll settle for at least being buried with hair.

» At the end of the day, its about the quality of life. I’d rather have a

I’ve been bald too long.

It’s gone beyond quality of life.

Now it’s about principle.

So if I knew the only way I would ever have hair again is to end up with cancer, then that’s OK by me.

I don’t really care what kind of side effects it may or may not give me. It means absolutely nothing to me. I would gladly risk my health, life, and general well-being for some beautiful locks of hair. Besides, living life bald makes me dead inside anyway.

i’ve wacthed someone die of cancer and it aint a pretty site. funny you guys say ‘at least i can be buried with a head full of hair’ when after chemo you probably will be ass bald again not only the hair on your head but other places too like eyebrows, etc. then on top of that you spend the last coupla years or so having to have somebody hold your dick to take a piss because you can barely walk and somebody feeding you while all your money is depleted and whoever is taking care of you their money being spent and them racking up massive debt and you just laying in bed all day dogg ass tired for no reason while you’re looking like death enough in the face that little kids in your family wont even want to get near you.

if HM meant getting cancer i’d say F%CK HM shave it and deal with it.

HOWEVER i could’ve sworn this was the purpose of phase I trials and there have been endless posts about this topic since the conception HM.

If I ever get cancer I am sure I will die very, very quickly.

Instead of slowing rotting while doctors slice off this piece and that piece and poison you with this juice and that juice while radiating you–all in the vain, miserable hope of a few months or years of miserable life . . .

You’re giving helpme just the sort of reaction he wants to this thread.

I don’t believe helpme for one second. He says he won’t get the first version of HM because he worries about “cancer”. I think he’s a total LIAR, and he’s lying to us about this. He actually fully intends to get HM as soon as it’s available, in fact, he’ll be one of the first people standing in line.

His posting this idiotic thread about “cancer” is totally insincere and I guarantee you that he doesn’t even believe what he said about “cancer”. He’s just a nervous, anxious guy with nothing better to do than post alarmist messages about “cancer”, purely to provoke a reaction from people here. Getting other people talking and catastrophizing about alarmist possibilities is how nervous people like helpme calm themselves down.

Helpme is extremely bald (look at his pictures – he’s much balder than me and he’s 15 years younger), so he’ll be one of the first people standing in line for HM, if he can afford it, that is. If he can, you can bet he won’t be thinking about “cancer”, he’ll be thinking about hair!

He just started this stupid thread to provoke a reaction from people here because he’s a nervous nelly and he wants HM to come out soon.

HM or no HM, it doesn’t matter so much to me any more.

I am moving to Alaska, where the wearing of hats is not an affectation.

And where I am resolved to live as a hermit until and if I have hair again.

Otherwise I’ll commune with the bears, wolves, and bugs.

I’ll probably learn how to skin a few of those critters to make fur hats for myself.

(or maybe I can skin a bear to make myself a toupee. Probably look better than a store-bought one, too.)

If I were going to escape, I’d go to the South Pacific, but that’s just me…

To each his own… just watch out for those Eskimo women, Ahab! They’re after whale meat, too!

you couldnt be more right…the fact that people actually bother engaging helpme in a conversation is beyond me. Hes simply bored and wants responses so he brings up hypothetical/ almost rhetorical questions out of left field just for the sake of typing.

Aye.

I’ll be sure to keep me meat safe in me pants.

Arrrggh

you are kidding right?
if no then say so!

you mean it for real , right? this is insane, my friend. since i posted a pic of my hair, why dont you do it too? my hair is not that bad! anyway, i dont care.

if you believe it or not, but i think i wont get first version of HM. either way. i will wait about 4 (?) years. for following reasons. 1. price will drop 2. it will become better 3. we know more about side effects. 4. competitors

i think the worst possible side effect is cancer.

well at the end it depends on the price and how good it is. for the cancer risk i will ask some doctors and/or scientists what they think about the cancer risk.

HM is so new. i know its not real stern cell research. but they create new follicles. so new tissue. thats pretty new in human history.

so i think there may be a cancer risk in the long run!
