Bizarre

I was checking out the soap operas on some of the other forums, and read where Balloonman said something to the effect that if body hair does grow, it will start dying out after a year. When I met DJ a few months back, he told me of one patient who got BHT growth and it fell out and didn’t grow back. Anyway, mine’s still growing after a year. I did get some shock loss in the test area after my last surgery, which was cause for some concern, but it grew back. Something similar is going on with my hairline. Some of the leg hair has fallen out, but other hair is beginning to sprout at approx. 7 mos. I think it’s just the shorter anagen phase of leg hair. It may just keep cycling like that. Who knows?

Anyway, I thought this was kind of funny:
My wife bought this “All Natural” ant and roach killer that is supposedly safe for indoor use. I’m not paranoid, but it makes one think, OK, this product kills ants and roaches. What about hair. So I looked up each ingredient on the Internet. Every ingredient of this all natural ant and roach killer has been used in some sort of hair growth product available on the market!! Don’t believe me, look them up: Rosemary Oil, Peppermint Oil, Eugenol and Wintergreen Oil. This stuff really kills ants and roaches. Since it is all natural, perhaps we can start a new cult to rival the no-shampoo Priors of their Ori…EcoSMART Ant and Roach Killer. Spray it on your head, it reeks like hell.

peppermint has been found to have some very anti-androgenic effects in male rats and men who drink peppermint tea often complain of low/no libido. Chances are there is something that intereferes with receptors or binds androgens in peppermint oil. SPearmint tea has been found to be useful in female hirsutism. Peppermint and spearmint are very similar plants. Perhaps the peppermint is to keep the little buggers from breeding…I know its anti-sceptic also.

I drank peppermint tea for a long time to relieve the symptoms of acidity in my stomach.I didn’t have any issues with libido, then again,it did f**k all for my acidity.

Thanks for sharing your progress. We have noticed this cycling in our patients too. Dr. A has mentioned about it.
When talking yields from bht, one has to factor this facet.
Dont worry about the hair that have shed. They will cycle into their anagen phase in their own time.
The key is the time from start of telogen to the teloptosis/exogen. Transplanted BH needs gentler care in this phase so that it provides coverage for longer time.

Holy Moly NT… Compelling!

Do you have the name of the person whose body hair that didn’t grow back? I’d be very curious.

Checkingin:
Dj could answer that question better than I could. It was just something he mentioned briefly in a conversation. It is possible that this person’s hair just went into a longer than normal resting phase. I don’t know.

In context of why I mentioned this, I was illustrating how sometimes things people say, either in person or in a forum can be the cause of concern, sometimes unnecessarily.

well the yeild with body hair is much lower so it makes sense that when the hair does shed not all of it is going to grow back.
