Avodart shedding, thinning

HI

I have been on Avodart for a little over 6 months now. Been shedding for 5…Frontal (widows peak) and surrounding areas as well as crown and vertex are getting more destroyed by the month…and I am shedding a crud load. How long would you guys stick it out??? I am wondering if I should cut my losses and go off of it and see if the thinning stabilizes…

Same tune again…

  1. did you use finasteride before? What results?
  2. the shedding began 1 month into the treatment…typical… avo is the culprit.
  3. Cut the dosage? 1 eod?..

Maybe some guy once in your case may give you a clue…

I also feel more shedding 1 month into avodart. Is this normal?

Hi Bucket,
Just wondering if you are still on dut since your shed and if your front hairline improved??
i have been on genuine Avodart for 5 months and its crazy but my crown continues to fill in but I took a big hit in the front. so far the hairling continues to recede. I know there are people out there who dispute this but the proof is in the mirror. I had a great hairline and within 5 months I have sen it recece about one inch.

Bunnyfeather,
Just wanted to know if you are still on Dut and how you made out?
Did you get any regrowth?
Thanks.

MJ2003 has a well documented thread on his experience with Avodart. I would check it out.

For me I have been on Porscar for over 5 years and it has really worked well to stop my hairloss in its tracks. I have never tried DUT.

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Avodart) - http://www.drugs-store-online.com I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

Please check all those pills that you want to use before using it.Sometimes little knowledge can be dangerous and you can lose your hoping of getting better solutions

Also check out www.twinshairloss.com

Identical twins (so you would expect them both to have identical hair loss).

One twin took dutasteride, the other did not.

5 years later the results in photographic evidence.

It’s normal

What is the cut off limit in the number of months according to any studies anyone has seen for the hair loss to stabilize on Dutasteride?

I’ll save you guys a lot of time.

I’ve been on it for about 12+ maybe 13 years.

Major Shed - Month 3-9
Things stabilize and get a little thicker (don’t expect fireworks) - Month 9-15

– cycle repeats a few times over the years —

In the end, you keep what you have. So whatever you see in the mirror right now, would likely be 5% less in 10 years from now.

Avodart works better than propecia. You can get it here at this site like I do without a prescription http://shopwithneededmeds.com/ hope this helps everyone.

I would stop it and try something else.
