Aderans seems the most promising and credible thing on the horizon right now, but I agree with you, it will probably take 5-8 years for us to see anything on the market from them.
Yeah, it’s just simple math. I’m sure people will spend the next 5-8 years playing out all sorts of scenarios to believe maybe it’s closer, but the simple math is right in front of us.
Full 3-stage FDA trials will generally take about 10 years.
Aderans just started phase#2 in 2009, therefore . . . 2009 + 2/3rds of a decade = release date.
6-8 years seems very probable if there are no further setbacks. 4-5 years could be a slight (but not likely) possibility if somebody opens up a HM clinic outside the USA before the trials are done.
