Acell has finally updated their website. It’s nothing to get excited about but it at least confirms (to the people who have doubted human usage) that it is being used on humans. I know it’s common knowledge that Dr. Jones is using it, but I thought people may want confirmation from Acell. I’m going to call them this upcomming week to see if there is anything new. Last time I spoke, they said that they were hoping to post pics of scar revisions (non-hair related) achieved by Acell. Hopefully, they will be posting those soon.

“Naturally derived, non-crosslinked ECMs, like UBM, are unique among scaffold technologies which fundamentally change healing by triggering abundant new blood vessel formation and recruiting numerous cell types to the wound site. These cells, including progenitor cells, have the potential to differentiate into numerous types of site specific tissues. During the healing process, the scaffold is rapidly degraded and completely resorbed leaving new tissue where scar tissue would normally be expected.”
Hey Willy. Thanks for the work you do! That is VERY cool. I was wondering if you had knowledge of all the dermatologists that are using ACELL for scar removal, or where I could find them?? I need help hair wise, but also for pitted scar removal. Maybe I can get a 2 for 1 deal in the future :^) Thanks in advance for your reply.

I wonder if it’s possible to use Acell as a kind of culture medium for multiplication of follice cells, which after being multiplied, would be injected back into the scalp.
