Ok lately we talked about the fact that Bosley has control of the 2 major HM firms.This seems scary and we are worried that they might even hold off the solution so that more transplants can be sold…
I think we have to look at things from another perspective when bosley enter into agreements with these firms i belive it bought 2 things.
The possible technology for offering something better than the current transplants
The control of information from these clinics to the public, in other words their silence.
and its the second thing that i want us to debate about. If these companies had funding from somewhere else than a transplant firm believe me information would be all over the news.The buzz would have been created and people would have been more informed that there is a solution pending.That would automatically mean less business for the Bosley clinics to a catastrophic level.
Thing about it the people that go to Bosley dont comwe into forums or else they would never go there.They are informed from the TV and Brochures and such so they are informed… by adverts.
This was planned to perfection by Bosley and they did a favor to all the other transplant clinics as well since the world does not know about intercytex or their phase 2 trials.
I will give you an example THE ONLY THING that i saw ALLOVER IN Greek TV was Cotsarelis research with wound healing as a cure for hairloss.Nothing ever about HM why?Because it is carefully controlled not to reach the mass level.
I think we are close and it will hit us like a thunder.Who is stupid anough to believe that Bosley would allow Aderans or Intercytex to go into the news and say YES WE DID, WE HAVE IMPRESSIVE RESULTS, WE WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER IN 3 YEARS.Noone would go to Bosley for the next 3 years NOONE…the company would collapse.Its ok for us in here and theones that are really interested to be given a thing or 2 but thats it all the rest are strictly controlled with agreements that were made along time ago to protect Bosley’s interest.

That would explain the minimal publicity about their Phase I trials and silence on an HM timeline, among other things. I mean, many of us follow HM regularly and how come in over a year nobody noticed Aderans’ Phase I website?
However, in contrast Intercytex is a publicly-traded company that has a HUGE incentive to publicize and market their developments. I think Phase II at Intercytex, even if the actual results are disappointing, will be spun in every possible way as a baldness cure. I think its destined to make some kind of media splash in the fall. They have every incentive to do this.
BUT regardless it’s possible Aderans could win the HM race without us even knowing about it, to protect its sister company Bosley…
It kind of reminds me of the space race in the 1960s between USSR and USA. The USSR won all the early records – first man in space, first orbit around earth, first dog in space, etc, etc. BUT the USA kept their developments quiet until 1969, when they landed on the f**king moon…
Boston baldy dont forget that Intercytex has enter into an agreement with Bosley…Bosley will be the first ones to use this technology if it comes out…Both intercytex and aderans are under Bosleys direct sphere of interest.

However,Bosley hindering the release of hm is still a HUGE threat.Forget trial results,Bosley will be the biggest hurdle to HM.
My optimism for an immanent release has just gone out the window.
Damon i dont think they will dare to bury it.It will be a huge technological advancement and they will have the advantage over anyother clinic in the world. It will have a tremendous turnover for them and if it is a good solution celebrities will be all over it.Huge advertisement and millions of people that did not like the current options will now be Bosleys patients.

I understand what you are saying but I have so little respect for the HTP industry that it wouldn’t surprise me if they did try to bury it for now.
HTP surgery is a very competitive field. Bosley is currently sharing the market with allot of other clinics, he is losing money to his competitors. There is no doubt that HM will result in the end of HTP surgery, nobody will want surgery when hm is released. If Bosley is the only clinic offering hm then he will get ALL the money. My only hope is that mans greed for money will come first & Bosley will release it straight away.
You mentioned a waiting list, that’s another fear I have. What if HM is released this year but there’s a 2 year waiting list?
LOL, if there’s a 2 year waiting list then trust me the greedy bastards in the hair industry will figure out a way to meet the demand. I have no question of their greed.

Damon if the cure is there and approved and we only have to wait…i think we will manage somehow to wait. I understand that for you is more difficult than anyone else but i have a feeling our lifes are gonna change even before we have the procedure done

Boy thats the truth…the docs who post in this forum…Woods, Cole, Harris, Umar, Poswal, Jones occasionally, Hasson and Wong, and a few others would be miles and miles ahead of the work you’d get at Bosley unless something big has changed there. MHR’s rep is even worse. Dr. Carlos Puig has had a few disasters that Ive seen on forums before, and he is one of their head honchos.

The same in germany. Many people here are interessted in a solution too but the only thing about hairloss research was the story about Cotsarelis. I never saw or read anything about HM last years… That’s an odd thing

the whole idea is preposterous
Lets say bosley owned a HM company and you owned bosley…and the HM had a breakthrough
the potential revenues from the HM breakthtough would make the annual revenues at Bosley look like pocket change
which one would you go with if you owned both companies

This had been the last summer, before a year. It was a page in the thematic of technology in a newspaper with big circulation, named “Ta Nea”. The article had a title like “it is the best time in history to be balding” and was saying that a cure is expected in the change of the decade. It was talking about the basic idea of hm (in the way we have read about it in every article in the internet) and was mentioning Intercytex and Aderans (as a australian corporation i think!!!).
Surely it was copied and translated from a foreign newspaper. Nevertheless, it was an article about hm!
And then i searched for intercytex in the web and found Hairsite!!

Intercytex and Aderans aren’t Australian corporations,cut back on the Ouzo!

I received an email from Dr Farjo,his response to my question was like a kick in the orchidaceae (testicles in Greek)
I emailed Farjo & ICX explaining my situation & asked some questions about hm.I never really expected either clinic to give me any definitive answers but I thought they might drop some hints to give me some hope.Yes it was a stupid idea but I am DESPERATE…
ICX never bothered responding,Farjo did.(Respect to Farjo) They claimed that hm MAY be of benefit to me but the trials are still in the initial stage. They offered to recommend some docs in my area who I could consult with about my situation.
The fact that they even suggested that I see docs in my area leads me to believe that we are still a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way away.
I have 2 options: useless,hopeless,foolish speculation & Nembutal.What a friggin choice!
