After much research and and a few consultations I decided to use the services of a Dr Lars Heitmann.He is based in Amsterdam.My initial consultation was through Aesthetic clinics in the U.K.
I will briefly explain my Journey into deciding to have a hair transplant.
I started noticing my hairline receiding at the age of 16! Which was far too much for me to handle at such a young age.I felt that I was already deteriorating into old age before I’d even started to live!
This turned my already shy personality into a reclusive depressive with zero self esteem!Thankfully my hair loss was very slow and was’nt noticable until I reached my mid 30’s.Then a large bald patch quickly developed, finally turning into the classic norwood III.At this stage I had no choice, but to shave my head!
I imagined that by doing this I could forget about my hair and that would be it!Years past and I was into my early 40’s.However, I was still self conscious about my norwood III hair style!Its strange because I have never considered myself as vain. I’am not bothered about getting wrinkles or turning grey, but loosing my hair was like loosing a limb!
I started to browes the internet. I could see these fantastic(and not so fantastic) results for hair transplants. I thought are these for real, can there really be hope!I spent my months looking into the fue process. I considered many surgeons and had quite a few consultations. I ended up deciding on Dr Heitmann.
I was very impressed by the personable service given by Dr Heitmann and his team. They really take care of you!And Dr Heitmann is a truly talented surgeon capable of the most natural results. Well after two sessions and approximately 3500 fue grafts I have my hair back! The results are for me outstanding.
