That’s amaizing!!!

You only transplanted into the frontal region and yet the hair grew all the way through to his crown. Now, how do you account for that???

Additional improvement may be due to him starting on a propecia and/or minoxidil regime.

You are imaging things, there is no clear before and after crown pictures.

Not imagining anything. If you look at the photos again johnp it’s very clear the density from his hairline all the way to his crown in both his before and after photos.

Clearly shows a lot of difference in zones 2,3,&4. But like the other poster said, could have been meds. If it was then the guys is fortunate to be such a great responder.

I wish it would be indicated whether or not meds were used and for how long.

johnp, are your journal pics before or after hair transplant? it didn’t say, I saw you had a line drawn along the hairline in one of the pics, was that in preparation for a hair transplant?

Hello, the patient started with Finasteride after the procedure which surely helped to get the crown more covered 7 months after the procedure, in fact the patient used Finasteride in the past but discontinued because he thought that Finasteride wasn’t working on him and the truth is that it works for him but not in the frontal area.

It looks pretty good, but I’d like to see more pictures from the top before I make any conclusions. Also the pre-op pics seem brighter than the post-op ones IMO. Surely finasteride couldn’t have filled in that much in 7 months? Judging from the pics he was pretty thin up top.

The grafts were placed in approx. an inch deep around the front, blended in at the widows peak.

If he stopped using fin because it wasn’t working for him, or wasn’t working in the front area for him, then how does the density explain itself in the front areas (not the transplanted area)?

If he was using fin before then I would assume that he gave it atleast 7-8 months before making a judgement of whether or not it worked before stoppping. If he waited atleast 6 months when on fin before stopping, he would stop even though he grew hair like a jungle all over his head?? He would stop because he grew hair like an animal but did not thicken his hairline like observed in the photos???

I know for a fact that fin can have some amazing results on the rare person who responds really well, but we’re only going here but what we read and it does not make sense.

Yes, the hair transplant in the front was a success and I would not negate it whatsoever cause it looks great. But the rest of the head is too fishy.

My only conclusion… super high flash/light was used when taking the before pics.

escar - thanks for posting.

HDC results have always amazed me and this is not an exception.

Few Qs for you escar:

  1. Does he have anything applied to his hair in the after pictures?
    I mean hair dye/color/oil etc…

  2. I always loved the honesty with which the results are posted by HDC and would like to see some more pictures with similar lighting.

  3. Is there anyway we can contact this guy over phone or PM etc?

  4. Why Dr. Michelis managed to put only 2500 grafts on this guy?

Their pics are amazing but they should start posting more videos, sometimes there is only so much that you can trust looking at pics.

No I didn’t have any work done, the doctor drew the line during the consultation only.
