well the "results " they posted are, 105 percent regrowth on some guy, meaning what? I guess if he had 10 hairs to begin with, thats 21 hairs or thereabouts when he was finished with the treatment

If you guys can look at these pics from gc 1961 from nizoral cream, , I would say these are 1000 percent plus regrowth in his bald area. And this is with nizoral cream, rogaine and a few other things he used
so HM has a long way to go to catch up to CURRENTLY AVAILABLE treatments

nizoral actually has worked on me, and I am resuming using it, I had an initial shed i was told is normal, i did not believe that, i stopped using it, for 3 wks and now my hair looks way better than it did when i started so I am starting back on it, the shed grew back

Some of us aren’t the blind dumbass cheerleaders of HM that you seem to think. I’ve been known to tear it down with some of the exact arguments you’re making in other situations.
But ICX is getting pretty far along. Either they’re getting a lot closer to a real product, or else they’re getting into fraud territory with the reports to their stockholders. They’re clearly trying to give the impression that they’re close to a commercial product. If we could get some sort of on-record statement that the hairs looked normal then I’d personally be ready to break out the champaign. (But only IF they’ll report that on record, in unambiguous language. This is the next issue where I smell B.S. and I think we really need to force an answer out of them as soon as possible.)
I see valid reason to hope that they’re within 5-15 years of a world with local affordable HM clinics. The hairs may have characteristics problems or they may not, but progress is progress.
Some of us are willing to pay money to get HM soon, even if it’s compromised hairs and limited regrowth yields for a while. 10% or 13% regrowth is better than zero.
And the hypothetical $10,000 figure being thrown around lately? The truth is that’s barely enough to buy a scruffy used Toyota sedan these days. There are guys paying $20,000+ for only a couple thousand grafts with the current top FUE work.
