Dr. Nigam,

Great results, congratulations. Do you have any similar cases?

Why is the patient’s hair color different?

The color is the same. Furthermore, if stem cell injections are successful, then color should darken as hair thickens.

The hair color HAS darkened.

Then it is a good thing.

In this set of photos, the color of the hair in the before and after pictures is exactly the same. Some people may interpret these as different colors because of the effect of the lighter scalp background in the before photo, and the fact that there is no scalp showing in the after photo.

I saw in some of the other photos posted by Dr. Nigam today (in another thread), the hair a couple of the patients appears to have grown in a bit lighter, but it looks like some of these patients are regrowing hair that is a little more grey. I think that’s to be expected if the patient is getting older.

Roger_that have you seen any before and after pics where Dr. Nigam tried doing the full HM cell treatment and then two weeks later did the entire cell treatment again and then two more weeks later did the entire cell treatment again?

This is what you call “compounding a treatment” because it would be the same full dose of the treatment but do it numerous times instead of just once. It seems to me like Dr. Nigam should have considered trying this by now. Even if it didn’t produce better results it does seem to me that it needs to be attempted to see if it might produce better results. For all we know repeat treatment dates like this might hold the key to a breakthrough.

And each treatment appointment I think he should use growth factors to fertilize the skin for the new cells in one patient who also gets multiple full HM cell treatment appointment instead of just one treatment appointment.

Cell treatment could be a case where more treatment appointments is better. Sometimes more is better so we need to find out.

I believe he said he was going to try compounding by giving multiple rounds of injections, but I don’t think he’s incorporated this into his regular treatment offerings yet. I don’t think he’s done anything like doing injections in two week increments.

i can totally settle for this kind of results and go back for maintenance once a year or something like that.

great results what is boldly and dr nigam working on together if anything

He should try multiple rounds of injections. This treatment needs to go there.

Certainly a big difference, but we are lacking important information on the rest of this patients regimen. Are they on finasteride?

Damn good result with injections. If this works for every patient then you need doubling to create a nicer hairline. The combination of both produce a great result

So this a result from only stem cell injections?

No transplanted grafts?

And the patient did not start using Fin/Dut/Minox during the last 2 years?

If so, this is very impressive. Even if it’s a better-than-average result, it still suggests that these treatments could be very effective on thinning hairs that are still terminal.

The hair color change seems weird though. It’s hard to imagine that happening without the patient dying it. The lighting conditions between the two pics seem reasonably similar.

Dr. Nigam. This is in deed a breakthrough. Please show more patients who’ve had this procedure in the near future. I’ve turned from a skeptic to a believer. However, I would like to see one thing… a hairline created where there was none. That would truly be the Holy Grail in hair restoration.

Would love to have answers to those questions.
I’ve been a long time reader here, and besides that one guy who got mad lucky with his regiment a few months back (which I see as possible but a one in a million occurrence) this is perhaps the most awesome thing I’ve seen here. More details please! Thanks

No transplanted grafts for sure…will check with my lab physician and patient…whether he is on any medication…frankly, i am not aware…about his personal medical regime…need to confirm and than revert.

Until we know this information it is misleading to suggest that the result is from stem cell injection. We all want it to be - but they could have been injected with water for all we know and responded well to something else.

Still, credit to Dr Nigam for being honest and saying “I don’t know” about the meds question.
