Excelent result.

He does have good hair characteristics!

It’s good to know that some Indians like a good hair style after HT!

Can you give us an idea of the density used?

It is good that he has investigated wether beard can be used in the next steps for his Ht when he needs them.

that s so true, i think arvind is probably the most talented doctor out there but the problem is that all his patients have hair styles from the 80s which make his work look mediocre sometimes

Marco, have you decided what approach you’re going to take about your hair?
Or are you still researching?

I don’t know but I genuinly need to work it out soon. I use a cosmetic concealer and up until recently no one would know that my hair was thinning. I has got to the point that the concealer does not have hair to cling to.

I know that if I include strip then i would need to keep my hair longer. I think that longer hair with bare patches is very unatractive so complete coverage would be needed. This may not be possible from strip alone.

I do not believe that FUE alone would get anywere neere good coverage for a type VI (which will be my statius)

FUE (scalp0 strip combo may just work to acheive 6000-7000

The great thing about Arvind is that he is adept at Strip FUE and beard / body FUE.

He has realistically said that the average type V or VI will need over 10,000 grafts for good coverage and if this is true then a mix of all capabilities will be needed.

I would like to get done to a reasonable degree in one shot.

I could do with a confident vision of who to use or what to do but still unsure. On top of that, I wonder how to work all this around my job which involves managing employees???

Other than a concealer, are you using any other treatment to maintain what you have to the minimum for as long as you can?

Put it like this, obviously you can’t and won’t be doing the entire scalp coverage in one sitting. But you will have to go in for a HT one some point. I’ve seen your hair and am picturing it thinner than perceived.

Assuming you have 7-10k donor hair available, why not go in for a FUE with 4000 grafts covering zones 1&2, and 3000 grafts for zones 3&4? Let it grow for atleast a yr and if you need anymore you can insert more grafts of your donor hair inbetween, or go for a body fue to mix inbetween. Body fue is best when mixed with donor hair, if you know what I mean. Less detectable.

2500 grafts in zone 1
2000 grafts in zone 2
2000 grafts in zone 3
2000 grafts in zone 4

This is a very decent amount of coverage.

Regarding work, I’m in the same situation. I manage 20 workers and look after 80 customers. Time is extremely important for me. My family, a NYC detective, got a HT with doc. armani recently while he stayed with me. He was in and out 2 mornings in a row for roughly 3500 grafts and made it look like a piece of cake. He went home to NYC on the 4th day. I think after his 3rd week after the scabs fell off he was back to work.

I used dut for 3 years and my hair thinned at an accelerated rate (massive shedding at times)

Fin 2 years… nothing

rivivogen and also minox … none helped

That is not necessarily true. Dr. Arvind can do strip/ fue hybrid + beard and body hair in one sitting over several days. The same is true of Umar.

It has now thinned much more than in the pics. Pretty much bald at the back / crown.

You believe that 7000 grafts can come from FUE. For the average joe with average or deteriorated donor who is type VI, that is almost certainly not true. Most surgeons estimates at 30% take is 4000-5000 max.

8000 grafts, yes and that is the problem. That will usually mean using all approaches together.

Sure and that is one of the advantages of FUE

45 to 60 grafts per sq cm were used.
