In most parts of Western Europe, Health Care IS a right, and we’re quite proud of it. If you got a medical condition here, you just go to the doctor and get world class treatment, then you go home and thats it. For that you have to pay taxes, yes, but on the other hand you don’t end up being refused by insurance companies for a premedical condition and dont need to face the greedy corporations. Health care shouldn’t be part of the for-profit sector (unless its a “luxury-treament” like a hair transplant), it should be part of the social system, which in the US is quite underdevoloped for such a developed nation.

They are already starting to privatize some of it up there b/c some people just don’t feel like being on a 7 month waiting list for heart by-pass surgury. I have great health care here b/c I CHOOSE too. Every responsible person has that PRIVILEGE. BTW noone is denied health care here. They just get the “county plan” if they want the freebie.
