Wow all of you would make great stock market speculators

#1

For the same reason that gas is now well over $3.00 a gallon and idiot speculators make fortunes while others ‘borrow a dollar for gas to start my monte carlo’ -eminem, this board has given new life to the word speculation.

look everyone lets just calm down for 1 sec, ok?

look at the facts

HM, intercytex whatever phase works, we’ve all seen the pictures. Even if the entire procedure only grew 1 f*ckin new hair, the concept and procedure still works. Thats all that matters, the concept and procedure of introducing DP cells to induce new hair growth in previously dead areas works!!! To what extent isnt even important.

All that matters is there’s hope. Last summer I was lying in bed awake at night only asking for something to give me real hair back, not this rogaine, propecia grabage, but a real cure. And here I am the next summer, typing about a cure to something that has troubled men since recorded history.

Think about that for sec, the ancient greeks, romans and egyptians all wrote about looking for a cure, whatever potions they tried, but here we all are 2007, and although the cure has not yet been released, it has been cured. Imagine all of our luck, look at what our fathers went through, we will only expierence that for a relatively short time.

So listen all my brothers out there in pain just like me, whatever refinements need to be made, will be made, the idea-tested, works. Not rogaine with polariod pictures in the 80’s, but actual scientific evidence in a professional approach. Like I’ve said before look at this time as prep time, you wouldnt go into a game with out putting the work in, so hit the gym, get a clothes and work on your game, cause in my guess 2years, its gonna be nothing but smooth sailing

You make a good point, gottabelieve: it is better to be bald/balding now than ever before. Here are the facts:

  1. Intercytex is in Phase II trials for efficacy, with results in fall 2007
  2. Intercyex has released photos of Phase I showing 66 percent new hair growth
  3. Intercytex has an agreement with Bosley for distribution of ICX-TRC
  4. Intercytex has a ten year agreement with BioLife to provide storage of cultured cells from ICX-TRC
  5. Intercytex has received a large grant from the British government to enable mass production of ICX-TRC
  6. Intercytex has announced plans for small-scale commercialization in 2008
  7. Aderans is in Phase I human trials, and has been so for over 14 months
  8. Aderans has announced creating a timeframe for commercialization in 2009
  9. Both Intercytex and Aderans have, at least since 2004, publicly discussed curing baldness by around 2010

This is good news, guys… we are getting closer… not to mention Follica, Inc, Acell, and other smaller, newer players…

can you pls give me the link for ict saying small-scale commercialization in 2008?

All I know about commercialization for ict is that they are not commrcializing until 2010. (well, from intercytex’s faq)

Check out the hairsite.com archives. It was reported a while back. Keep in mind that these are ONLY PLANS for small-scale commercialization and depend on Phase II results as well as regulatory review. Basically we think it’d be Phase III, with in-house work done in England.

This info was released in ‘Preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2006’ PDF released in March. You can read it on the ICX website.

“We are investigating whether there are opportunities to initiate the small scale commercialisation of ICX-TRC in 2008. This will depend on the outcome of the ongoing Phase II trial and further regulatory review.”

Potentially very exciting stuff but there’s still too many variables in consideration. The regulatory review is likely to be dependent on new EU legislation, waiting to be approved.

Hey Boston,

I was just wondering if you had a chance to contact any doctors yet. I’ve e-mailed several. (Arvind, Hasson & Wong, Gho and Bazan). I actually called Bazan’s clinic but only got a bilingual operator (who hopefully conveyed my message). Some of the docs have definately expressed interest. I would like to contact Armani since Acell has a distributor in Dubai. I’ve spoken with a rep from Acell several times who seems to be fairly confident that this would work.

I would still prefer that ICX put something on the market…but it would be nice to have a backup just in case.

Take Care,
Raptor

Hey Raptor,

Yes, I’ve contacted a few, including everybody associated with Follica Inc. I’ll be on vacation until August 5th. But hopefully by then I’ll have some replies and give you some updates. I’m going to send off a few more emails today – to Perluigi Santi and colleagues in Italy, and others. I will also email Gho again, if you don’t mind. It’d be great to see Gho vindicate himself with Acell

Cheers,
BB
