Willing to answer questions

I am Alvi Armani patient who is about 2 yrs out. I had the strip procedure done with about 2500 grafts transplanted. I had a wonderful experience and am willing to share that experience with anyone who is interested. I have constructed a blog at Myarmanistory.blogspot.com documenting my progress and moreover highlighting the tremendous results that my procedure yielded. I know what it feels like to be in the unfortunate position of losing your hair and then miraculously regaining it back. I realize how apprehensive anyone considering a transplant must be, because i know how nervous i was. That is exactly why i’m offering to answer any questions anyone might have about anything dealing with this topic. Please don’t hesitate.

Why did you decide to go for strip over FUE, especially with a number like 2500 grafts? Your results do look fantastic. My only reservation with Armani is regarding his FUE… it doesn’t seem to me like he is seeing the same yields and, hence, results, as he did with strip like yours and many more. Thoughts?

Colorado,

What does this guys post have to do with Armani Fue and your reservations regarding yield? Especialy considering that he had strip? Didn’t you just ask these same questions in another Armani thread?

Looks good Reddog, does anyone know that you had the procedure?

Hey,
It was just a personal decision for me to have the strip done. I admit it was ill concieved at the time because of how less traumatic the FUE procedure is, but hind sight is 20/20. However it is an understatement that i am more than happy with the results. I have been keeping track of Dr. Armani’s fue results for my own knowledge and in my opinon they look fantastic as well. I’d have to say if i were to ever have another procedure done in the future, its a no brainer that i would elect for the fue instead of anther strip procedure. I just would not want to put my self through the first couple of days unecissary discomfort. hope that answers your question if not im here so ask away.

Not one person knows…in fact i often get comments from new people i meet like, “wow your hair is so thick you’ll never lose it!”. In my head im like “if you only knew”…

Did you have a procedure done or are thinking about it?

Tremendous results Reddog. Good of you to make your self available for questions also.

Reddog, Your results look awesome!!! Congrats on your transformation… I would never guess in a million years that you had any work done from looking at your pics…

Colorado,

You must be getting repetitive strain injury from repeating the same thing again and again.
Poor fue yields, poor fue yields. Please show us these grown out poor fue yields. All the cases I have seen look great.
Its fine to ask for and give opinions, but how about backing up some of statements with facts rather than misleading people. Im yet to read of anyone whos had fue done from an Armani Clinic who is not happy with there result.
I personally waited years purely because I didn’t want to have strip done, and am thankful I held out.
You’ve got Reddog telling you he wouldn’t think twice about going for fue over strip.
How many opinions would you like?
If you really think strip has better yields after all the responses, then go for strip.

Colorado…

In reference to your poor fue statement, I have to say I have seen nothing but great results for this type of procedure. In consultations at Dr. Aramni’s office I myself have seen first hand the results of fue in patients and was astounded. It led me to schedule a procedure. The fue, in my opinion, is remarkable. This is a forum and you have a right to your opinion as well, but in my case I think fue is the way to go from what I have seen.

Colorado,

I also agree with Leong19 and Hairwhereiwant it. I had FUE surgery at the Armani clinic and was also very happy with my results. My pictures speak for themselves. I also know alot of other people who have had FUE done by Dr. Armani and will echo this statement.

Needless to say, your hair looks awesome, the perfect hairline is Armani’s specialty, I wonder if any of his patients lost more hair later on behind the thick hairline and what did they do? I don’t buy that every one of his patients can retain a thick head of hair like this forever.

It would be nice if any Dr could guarentee you wont lose hair in the future, but how could anyone guarentee such a thing. Does anyone know how they will look 10 years from now? You look at your family history, and work with the probabities, and make a decision.
Everyone is encouraged to take meds for the very reason of not losing or atleast slowing down future hair loss. What do people do if they lose more hair? Well some get a second or third transplant if they feel its necessary and its within there budget.
I dont expect to lose much more hair behind my transplant as the meds have reduced dramatically the amount of hair I lose, and my father and his father only lost in the frontal regions. But if I do lose hair behind the hairline, I will not think twice to get a second transplant, and third if needed.
In the end a Dr is a Dr not a psychic.
