Why no results from doctors utilizing Acell

» btw, I find the following
» pic quite impressive, this is just Acell plus PRP after 1 year.

is it impressive or the fact that the guy has dyed his hair black and his gray hair is no longer showing ?

» Hitzig has this on his website, it doesn’t seem like he is doing plucked
» hairs, this is pure injections with Acell plus Arterial Platelet Rich
» Plasma (APRP), no mention of plucked hairs. Actually, I couldn’t even find
» any references to plucked hairs on his site. btw, I find the following

It looks like the patient may have regained some hair color as well.

not impressive at all.

» I went to Hitzig;s website and it is not clear exactly what he is focusing
» on. Is he giving up on plucked hairs and focusing more on hair transplants
» that involve PRP/Acell? I want to know what he thinks is the most
» promising based on his studies so far.

As one person, I am trying to focus on three areas of exciting research at once-sorry if that hasn’t been clear.

I am working diligently on using ACell/Arterial PRP in donor area regeneration and repair;

I am also using ACell/Arterial PRP in recipient area hair “multiplication” of results in Hair Transplantation

I am also evaluating the use of ACell/PRP injections in thinning hair to slow down and possibly reverse hair miniaturiazation.

I admit I have not concentrated recently as much on the plucking but I am doing follow-ups on several of these at present and will post results.

All of the above have been exciting and promising. Results are being posted as I go along after Patient signed Permissions. I have some new pictures going up in the next day or two of a combination of transplant with ACell/Arterial PRP in the anterior scalp and simply injections of the same in the posterior half. These are 1 year follow-ups.
Just did a 75 beard hair plucing follow-up in the anterior scalp with ACell/PRP with a yield of over 200 hairs–I will post these in the next week.
This was an exciting surprise because prior pluckings in this patient (no ACell) yielded only fair results.

Will try to respond to you guys (and Girls) as best as my time allows.
Thank you for your questions and feedback

Dr. Hitzig,

I see that you keep stressing the word “Arterial” whenever you use the term PRP, is arterial PRP not the same as the type that Dr. Greco or most doctors use?

Thank you Dr. Hitzig for posting some info about your A-Cell work. I am somewhat skeptical but hope this product works. Any photos and success stories you can post are appreciated.

Yeah, thank you, I wasn’t expecting an answer from Dr. Hitzig himself (and so fast) I look forward to the photos and anything you can share.

im impressed with the results of the scar revision dr hitzig had recently posted, im eagerly awaiting more info and hopeful the results are consistent, this is my primary interest in acell, and secondly the prp/acell injections to enhance my transplants, i know how busy you must be, but keeping us up to date with your findings is very encouraging thanks

Thanks Dr. Hitzig and keep going with the research. You’ve got your supporters out here counting on you.

I guess this is where the 50/50 probability comes from. Dr. Hitzig is still not sure about injections only as a relevant procedure for reversing miniaturization. The word “possibly” causes me some concern :frowning:

i think we have to wait for another one and a half year and two year follow up
