Why dont doctors post more results

» Some of the pictures are good and some are not.
»
» I still say my photos and documentation are better, clearer, more
» detailed, etc.
»
» I didn’t have near as many grafts as this man did and did not have
» obtrusive, painful, and scarred prone strip surgery, yet I still have
» excellent results.
»
» My photos and story speak for themselves.

Well, I certainly have no incentive to debate the point. I’m happy that you’re happy. Wassup is also happy, I think, and I’m happy about that, too. I don’t disagree that FUE is better than strip, but FUE hasn’t always been available, so (unfortunately) many guys have strip scars. That said, I consider Wassup’s results to be the best I’ve ever seen, and I think his photos clearly reflect that. But, again, I’m glad you’re happy with your results, which are also good.

You are right. FUE was not always available and that is why I have many scars on my head that are visible when my hair is cut very short or shaved.

He did what he thought was the best choice for him, and what was available at the time as did I.

We both fortunately got results we were satisfied with and that is all that counts is that we, the patients, are happy with the results.

Everyone can learn from both of our experiences and also others’ experiences, and hopefully our experiences will enable people in the future to make the best and most informed decisions when it comes to what they may want to do for themselves with regards to hair transplants.

I have asked on the transplant forum before, but got no answer.I note that you mention shaved head.

What I want to know is if I have a FUE transplant. How long would it show that I’ve had something done for.I keep my hair short, shaved, but I’d like more hair at the front, the rest of my hair as just thinned only,at the moment.

If I shave my head would it show up in the future that something was done?

Thanks in advance

Within about a week I was healed in the donor area where the untrained eye could not tell anything had been done. Actually, even after only two days the healing was remarkable (see my blog photo) The receipient area may take a little longer in regards to all the scabs coming off, but as far as healing it happens very quickly.

Your hair will grow back faster than you realize after being shaved. Personally even though I could have, I didn’t go back to work for about two weeks after.

Look at my blog and the photos several days and then a week, and two weeks, etc after my second surgery and you will see how quickly things get back to normal.

An added hurdle for guys with particularly light complexions is that the recipient area can look pink for as long a couple of months. If one has a light complexion, it might be a good idea to resolve that you will wear a hat for a couple of months. That way, if you have to, you expected it. If you don’t have to, that’s better than what you were prepared for.
