20 k for everything.

1st proced. 300 fuht Bosley
2nd … . 600 fuht bosley
3rd … aprox. 2200 fue scalp Dr. A
4th approx. 2200 fue 1700 beard + 500 scalp

as u’d probably guess, bosley is crap . but i did their procedures 7 years ago. before fue was available
and ididnt do research . so not interesting results by them and expensive

i sent some photos to hairsite they will be posted soon

Thanks. How much of the 20k went to Bosley?

What do you dislike about your hair at this point? Is it noticable at all in the donor area where the FUE was taken (thinned out,etc)? Any scarring in the beard area?

ah i wish it was that easy

here’s my problem:
usually after u have a hair transplant u r excited the 1st 6 months of how ur hair will get denser and fuller. well, i feel this the 1st 2 months because the amount of hair i loose is more noticable than the transplanted one. i get depressed soon after
i’m thinning at the moment more and more on the crown. last week i felt that a big patch in my crown has gone bald in one week , and it did.
i just want to know how to control it.

to ur 1st question : 6 k went to bosley for 950 fuht .

i meant to ask u after u gave me advise on the shampoo;
are u suffering from sebhorric dermatisis, dandruff or nth at all?

I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis, which is basically just extreme dandruff. If you lost a patch in your crown in just 1 week, it sounds like you may have alopecia areata. Go see a dermatologist ASAP.

So did you pay a per graft rate to Dr. A?
Did you get hair transplanted into the crown area?

yes i paid per graft.

and altogether i have 1200 fue in my crown
sent the pics to hairstie to post them.
don’t understand what’s taken him so long

In another thread you said you had 6500 grafts. 2200+2200+950 doesn’t equal 6500. Did I miss something?

Is the patch of hair you lost in the crown the newly tranplanted hair? Could it be shockloss? How long ago did you get the procedure done?

Lavender oil dissolved in ethyl alcohol works for me.

And Nizoral works does too, even just using 1% shampoo like a topical.

Nothing else topical that I’ve tried works well enough to make me want to continue spending money & effort on it.

I have not ever tried minox though.

I believe it would do me some good in the short term. But I don’t want to get hooked on it and deal with the potential sides just to look a tiny little bit better temporarily. I prefer to just fight the actual androgen damage only. This kind of progress putting off the continued loss is a little bit more of a permanent gain in the big picture.

sorry dont remember posting 6500 in total
i must have made a mistake
but all in all its 5350 grafts

last procedure was 3 months ago
and the severe loss i had started 2 weeks.
after the operation i wasnt having any more loss

not on the pillow or in the shower or even when i pass my hand through my hair
but as i told u , the dermatisis wetn crazy , and hair loss got extensive and after two days ( well its not an empty patch but very visible)

really don’t know know who to trust.
i think i asked u this before :
are u using anything that’s stopping ur hair loss ?
growing hair?
people in the forum seem too paranoid tthat they r focused on experiments and we r not seeing any results

had excellent results with minox but i used so much of the 5% it only lasted me 2 weeks. stopped cuz i couldnt handle the mess. no other sides noted except some itching.
