LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Cell therapy company Intercytex Group PLC (LSE: ICX.L - news) said its full-year pretax loss widened on higher operating expenses, but added it expects to report strong commercial and clinical progress over the next year.
For the year to Dec 31, Intercytex’s pretax loss widened to 11.63 mln stg from a restated 9.23 mln.
Research and development costs rose to 9.62 mln stg from 8.57 mln as the company expanded its clinical trial programme, while general and administrative costs increased to 2.68 mln stg from 1.26 mln last year.
Revenues edged up to 111,000 stg from 83,000 stg.
