What does it take to become a hair transplant doctor?

This is a question that is hardly ever asked.
So, this quiz is open to all.
e.g.

  1. 6 months to 1 year training
  2. attend 2 to 3 days workshop
  3. pay 2000 - 4000/- USD (no questions asked, you are welcome as a member of a society).

and so on.
We are not against any society as such as many are trying to improve standards.
However, readers need to know that there is no training requirement and none of the societies have any medicolegal standing.

So, what did you, as a reader, think it is required to become a good hair transplant surgeon

No guesses even?!
Ask your eye surgeon or gynecologist (or any specialist for that matter). Ask them how much time it took them to learn the required skill set to operate in their field.

Then ask them what training would be required. Will 2 day workshop (30 to 90 mins per workshop) suffice?
They will be aghast (if they know even a little bit about HT).
