What can be done for BHT wite scars on Chest

What can be done for BHT wite scars on Chest?
Can any Doctors or patients give me some options?
I have a small amount (about 20) visible white scars that don’t tan.
Can any Doctors punch thee out and suture them or put new grafts in these areas or offer any other treatments? It seems to me that excising them and suturing them so there is no granulation would be the best option. Will any Doctors do this for me?

How did you end up with 20 scars on your chest? Was this a result of a bht?

Yes, BHT. There is more than 20, but that is about the number that are visible.

can I see some pics? I want to see what they look like.

There should be some type of rule for this forum. When anyone wants advice, opinions, or comments on their hair transplant condition it should be mandatory to post pics so what know what they’re talking about. It would be usefult to both the readers and the poster. Thanks!

You can try copper peptides from skin bio. You can treat these spots with new grafts from other parts of the body. Very unusual to have any visible scarring after 6 to 12 months. I would be curious to know who performed your surgery. If the extraction needles is 1MM or less visible scarring, barring infection, should be very limited unless your up close and looking hard.

I wonder if Mederma can reduce fue or bht scars?

I doubt that they would be visible on a photo unless it was a really good camera, which I don’t have. No one else would probably notice, maybe a girlfriend up close. Chest hair does kind of cover it but I am meticulous and I notice it. A dark tan in the summer makes it noticable to me. It has gradually improved, BHT was 2 years ago. I don’t know of anything that can regerate melanocytes in granulated scar tissue. I tried silicon scar gel, didn’t seem to help much. I can try mederma and some topical psoralens.
I think the easiest thing would be to punch it out and suture it but I’m not sure if any Dr. would do that. It seems like the chest is more prone to scarring than other BHT donor sites.

Have you considered asking your doctor to camouflage the white dots by putting 20 grafts in the donor? He might even do it for free if we are talking about a mere 20 grafts.

Go to a derm who can do Fraxel C02 on them. That should take care of it.

I’m thinking that that might be the best approach. Thanks.
