To be fair it’s been said that they are injecting into 3 x 3 inch areas on the scalp and they prefer that its bald not thinning but bald. Now if you apply rogaine to bald head i’m pretty sure it’s not going to do a whole lot. If the injections by aderans actually produce hair (i’m not saying they do) then i do not see this as being comparable to drugs I see it as being far superior (dependent on the quality of the hair produced). The best thing that can be done is either wait for the trial to end or if possible speak to a number of people who have taken part in the trial, everything else is hearsay and open to interpretation depending on if your in a positive or negative mood. I find it very difficult to believe that they would incurr the costs of a phase 2 trials if they had nothing or very minimal results. Phase one surely would have produced a proof of concept before they continued. Then again I am not in the industry so I have very limited to zero knowledge. I say wait for proper 1st hand information instead of speculation.
My guess is that they are trying HM with and without Minox.
I guess they will also include a study with Propecia as well.
My guess is that when they will go in Phase 3, depending on the conclusion of this study, they can include participants that are currently using Minox and Propecia.
Your reasoning is correct. But even if they say that they are seeking for very bald people, the truth is that:
-Our secret spy, Bald-HalfTruth, is not very bald himself (if my memory serves).
-The photos posted by ARI in the latest pdf show a not-very bald scalp, and a few gained hairs that could have probably also been obtained using Minoxidil.
And, if a very bald scalp gets just a few crappy gained hairs using ARI’s formula, they will consider it “viable” because it is comparable to what you would get using drugs in that same bald scalp.
I don’t intend to be right, just making you see that things are very debatable.
