Transgender Hair Transplant Results- Dr. Cole

We frequently treat transgender patients who wish to become more feminine. The patient had 3200 grafts placed on the top and front of the scalp using the PCID (Programmable Power Cole Isolation Device), The grafts were harvested at a rate of over 2000 per hour!
Her goal was to treat the area of hair loss for more acceptable feminine appearance and she planned to use a wig but due to the success of the hair transplant surgery she decided to also place more grafts on the crown area.

2000 an hour? this has to be a typo

Forhair,

Couple of questions:

  1. Are you using the PCID (Programmable Power Cole Isolation Device) on all procedures?
  2. What kind of transection / yield rates rates are you seeing with the PCID device?
  3. Are you using Acell and PRP on all of your patients now?
  4. If so, what are the current costs associated with these procedures? Either per graft or adding Acell/PRP, etc.

Thanks!

Anomaly

Neveragain, it’s not a typo…2000 per hour!
Anomaly, we are using PCID on all procedures, it is faster and very efficient.
As far as i remember last time i checked transection rate was 1-2%, i will double check it for you as Dr. Cole has done some new data and was about to reveal it to me.
We are using PRP-ACELL on majority of patient, probably around 90%.
If you want to know more about the pricing you are free to call the office and talk to one of our patient coordinators:

That’s crazy, can you show a video how this works?

it is socially acceptable for women (as the women herein) to wear wigs/hair peices. Has she considered this? She’d get a perfect look of a full head of hair with a hair peice. Whereas, with her transplant here, it looks not so full. Im being serious when I say that if I were transgendered m to f, I’d go the wig route, myself. I just think its socially aceptable for women (as the woman here) to do this.
