I don’t see where anyone is saying they know it will be a “cure”. They’re just saying they think it will work better as a topical than taken orally. Which to me makes sense.

Since we don’t know enough about this drug’s potential yet, it could be a cure, and it could do very little. We just don’t know until it’s tested.

it doesnt even quantify how well it worked… it could be something marginal
