Top 10 List: Most Likely to Find Baldness Cure in 5 Years

I have no idea what kind of theory is being thrown around here. Is the theory that shampoo causes balding? Keep in mind that men went bald 2000 years ago before traditional shampoo was even invented. And from my personal experience, I spent 5 years very ill and not shampooing in the traditional sense, and that was during my most prolific hairloss period. Shampoo does not cause hairloss–DHT sensitivity does.

The most promising cure for baldness right now is ICX. After them is ARI. If both of these groups fail, then HM will have turned out to be much harder than anyone imagined. In this case, the cure could be decades away. So keep your fingers crossed. Most likely though, based on 5 of 7 growing 65 hairs per 100 injections in phase I, we will at least see a pretty good adjunct to HT and at most a full-blown Chia pet-like cure.

It’s sad to see what desperation will make people say & do.One is ignorant enough to think that not using shampoo will regrow his hair while the other is so delusional he actually thinks HM is right around the corner ready to cure the baldness curse. What makes this real funny (not in a humours way) is that they are both making fun of each other not realising that both their ideas have no basis in reality.Keep waiting guys, keep waiting.I only wish I could be around long enough to read your pathetic excuses when your ideologies have come up short.

» I thought I’d just point that out.

Take that back Benji. He is not bald. He WAS bald 10 plus years ago. He said he was a bowling ball. A NW 7 is not bald Benji. He has come a long way in 10 years. Let’s at least give him that for God sakes. Now Benji in the future, if you can’t say anything good about Lawrence and his remarkable 10 year regrowth, please don’t say anyting at all.

Ive seen NO REGROWTH. The pics you posted shown a man with a completely bald head and alot of fibrosis-----------------June 15th or whatever, he is probably going to don a wig or whatnot and post a pic.

DAMON,

Im NOT bald. I have hair, but my temples are receeded-and stable due to finasteride and peptides (prox-n usually, sometimes tricomin–its cheaper).

DAMON,
Many of us are simply waiting until the phase 2 results come in to see if any trialees have good success in growing new hair up there. If they do, we know that we have a winner and then its just a matter of time for conducting a phase three over there and a review process before commercialization overseas. OF COURSE IT WILL TAKE LONGER OVER HERE. It takes three FDA trials and a review process here. A successful phase 2 will let YOU know that “its coming” and is only a matter of time. I DONT think that in the USA one will be getting HM in five years unless ICX and Aderans really started trials here immediately. I anticipate hopping on a plane on going to Europe to have it done to be honest----

Not trying to be arch, but I know more about hair than about 99-percent of the general population. Believe me, Ive not drank any kool-aid. Ive looked into every manner of hair replacement for my temples, and currently HM (and possibly something like Acell) are about the only things that would seemingly have the ability to really give someone who went bald a full head of hair again with no need for treatments etc.

Mr. Bond, back then, men also went bald from stress because they had to hunt for their food. But don’t kid yourself. Men thru the ages have put crap in their hair to attract women. The things they put in their hair in many cases was even worse than SLS is today. These people didn’t have a clue that they were making their hair worse by trying to attract women.

As for your “most prolific hairloss period” in which you were ill, you just said the reason why you lost your hair. It was illness not the fact you didn’t shampoo. Probably the not shampooing as much saved you from going entirely bald.

You only see what you want to see Benji. Again, you say he’s completely bald. This is another lie by you Benji. He clearly has regrown at least 2 inches on the sides and back. Yeah, just hold your horses Benji. I can’t wait until July 15th or so when he posts his final regrowth photos. I will guarantee you he will not be wearing any wig either. He was in major regrowth mode a year ago and I fully expect full thick coverage in just a couple weeks.

yea Kramer,

All those Roman Senators 2000 years ago went bald because they had to hunt for food. Oh wait, they had servants and markets and pretty much didn’t have to do anything like hunt or fish. Hmmmmmm…and I wonder why all those poor women back then DIDNT go bald, yet the men did.

I wonder why so many Greek statues show bald men.

I wonder just what it was they were putting on their heads that was so much worse than SLS?

How pathetic. Its unreal what people will convince themselves of. Brad Pitt shampoos. Brad Pitt in his mid-forties has a full head of hair. Brad Pitt does not have Male Pattern Baldness.

Dum de dum DUMB Dum de dum DUMB Dum de dum DUMB
DUMBBBBB!!!

For a smart guy you sure are dumb.Don’t you realise that Brad Pitt is part of the conspiracy? So were the Romans & ancient Greeks. They were all part of the conspiracy to disprove Custinger’s scam err I mean ground breaking theory.
Why don’t you try not shampooing your temples ?

All jokes aside, why would you even worry about your temples ? How far do you think it would have gone if you didn’t take Propecia? How does your father’s hair look ?

Why aren’t all the women in world bald? They use shampoos more often then men.

I really think we should be divided into teams. One for intercytex guys, one for “there is no hope (we all going to die)” and one for shampoonist (wherever mentioned).

As far as all things mentioned above I have to say one word (one sentence  )… all questions will be answered soon!

Until then, lets keep fighting :hungry: :ok:

Kramer is right for the most part. Many of these Greeks went bald because of what they were putting in their hair. Being somewhat of a history buff it is well known that many of the Greeks wore toxic head crown pieces that were the “in” thing as that time. The toxicity was far worse and did damage much quicker than SLS. If you don’t know what I am talking about, do you remember the old Star Trek episode where Kirk got trapped on a planet and that gigantic Greek God type guy was preventing Kirk from leaving. Even though Kirk was trapped it wasn’t all that bad since he was trapped with some hottie with big breasts. Anyway, I am getting off subject but the Greek guy on that particular show had a nice crown type hat design that he wore. That is what all those guys back in the day wore and that’s why most of them went bald.

You know it’s not just SLS that can make you go bald. If you put gasoline on your head or crude oil like Norwood Schmoorwood from GIB once tried, these things will also make you go bald.

You guys have convinced me. The hundreds of scientific studies that say hormones and genetics are reason for baldness must just be propaganda from the shampoo companies. Down with shampoo!

Atta boy Ilab, that’s the spirit. Hey Diamond Dave and Kramer, looks like our hard work is finally starting to pay off. We finally got a shampooist to change his way of thinking and is dumping the suds from the way it appears. What a great day for Get It Back.

Hey everyone,

The shampoo theory is stupid. The only evidence for anything related to shampoo and male pattern baldness comes from this article:

Piérard-Franchimont C, De Doncker P, Cauwenbergh G, Piérard GE:
Ketoconazole Shampoo: Effect of Long-Term Use in Androgenic Alopecia.
Dermatology 1998;196:474-477

They show that Nizoral (i.e., ketoconazole) shampoo might have (rather weak) effects in slowing down male pattern hair loss. Why? Because ketoconazole is an anti-androgen that helps to reduce the sensitivity of hair follicles to dihydrotestosterone. Even when we’re talking about a shampoo that works it goes back to genes and hormones, guys.

And as far as HM, that’s the future. And there will be substantial progress in 5 years – there are no fewer than 6 companies working on hair multiplication or related procedures. There is no doubt that it is better be bald now than ever before.

All the best,
BB

I don’t listen to some gay Frenchmen that I cannot pronounce. I listen to my leader, Dr. Lawrence Cutsinger who started this grunge movmement after he was a near bowling ball 10 plus years ago. Take a look at him now Boston Baldy. Does he look like a near bowling ball? I rest my case.

Exactly. Id lose all the hair on top eventually if I did nothing, but by doing something I have pretty good hair up there. When one realizes all the compainies, pharmaceutical makers, researchers, cellualar scientists, and folks who have piddled with essential oils and folk remedies with varrying success…to suggest that shampoo is why men bald and women dont and many men dont and genetics arent involved is rather childish.

Lawrence Custinger is very bald.

His head shines so bright Santa wants to replace Rudolph with him to lead his sleigh team of reindeer around the world.

Custiner’s liver spots on top of his head allow him to bond with leopards, becuase they think he’s one of them.

Cusingers greasy oil emanating from his non-washed scalp can be drained and turned into petroleum (or petroleum jelly for Kramer who probably uses alot of that), or to solve the world’s energy crisis.

ALl the collageneous deposits from fibroblasts in Cudslinger’s scalp from years of the MPB process could be surgically extracted and saved to be implanted in Britney Spears face when it starts to sag instead of Botox.

You guys ARE right, Cuddelstein-sligner is a resouce.

I can’t help but think:If HM was something people on this board REALLY believed in,this asinine shampoo topic would NEVER have been given the attention it has just received. Why waste your time debating such a idiotic topic with equally stupid followers when you’re so convinced that the real cure is at hand?
HM dreamers & non-shampoo users are so much alike it is scary.
Meanwhile,HTP Docs get richer & richer while mangled bald guys sink deeper & deeper. This forum & the entire hair loss industry needs an enema.

Benjiah, the only one acting childish is you. Why does it bother you so much that shampoo and soap cause baldness. Get over it. Either you accept it and continue to shampoo and go bald or you get smart and drop that bottle of shampoo.
